I've been one of the few PJ supporters from the beginning, and agree that his performance has improved this year.  However, he hesitated to throw too often against UCF and as a result scrambled a lot.  I can't be sure whether the coverage was good, or he was slow to make decisions with the ball (I watched the game on TV and can't see the whole field).  My guess is the latter.  

I'd love to see much more passing off of play action in the weeks to come.  Pound Hall and Ponton up the middle, and then go deep off of play action.  USF will need some big plays to beat UL and UM.

I think he has done a nice job. We will see in the next two weeks because we WILL need more passing to compete in both games

The problem with judgments of this sort is that all the Really Good and Really Bad opponents are at the front of the schedule. I think we'll know more about how good this team is after games with the likes of Pittsburgh, West Virginia, and UConn.

Agreed.  The back half of the schedule will show us where we stand in the BE.

I am basing on what he's done, not what he hasn't done. And he hasn't done ANYTHING bad in all 3 games.

I really think you have a problem with offensive   play calling ... next report card after WVU will be a more of a true telling of his play.
