Look how hard they try to show that USF has "blown us away".  USF is EXACTLY where we were in 2003 at the beginning of the season.  They're at the point where they THINK they're about to break out and they feel good about it.  By the end of the season, they'll be deflated and begin to face the same growing pains that we have.  Will they make the same moves we did to put our program back on track?  We'll see...

BTW, don't reply to this post until the end of the season.  Maybe I'll bump it back up come December!  And if I'm wrong, feel free to bump it back up and slam me all you want!  This could make for some good material for you guys!

USFs "miraculous" transition into IA football isn't quite so amazing when FAU and FIU did the exact same thing without a conference affiliation or strong basketball programs to help along the way.

Way to go.

It's not just getting there. You saw the wins we've had since getting there. Let's check out FAU and FIU in four years. To be honest, FAU could do a better job. They jumped out running.
