KECK, GRABER OUT: Because USF's TV appearances are scheduled for ESPNU, FSN Florida or as the Big East's game of the week, play-by-play announcer Al Keck and analyst Doug Graber likely will not be involved in any Bulls' broadcasts this year.

Keck and Graber have been USF's local broadcast team since the 1997 inaugural season.

"I loved doing USF games for eight years and following the growth of the program," Graber said. "The thing I'll miss the most is working with Al Keck. It was a great opportunity."

Even without USF, Graber will remain busy, working several college games for ESPN Classic and ESPN Regional this fall as well as the Bucs preseason games and Sunday Bucs pregame show on WFLA, Channel 8.

Great News only if they hire a good replacement.  BTW-I hear the Angels old rally monkey is out of work. ;D

I know they made numerous mistakes but you could never doubt their passion for USF football, which is better than some "neutral" announcers that really don't know anything about USF.

And when Rubin had that kickoff return in the Bucs game last week, Graber was right there to tell about how good he was in college.

I didn't really have an issue with Graber.  I thought he was generally accurate.  Keck...hmmm.  I never quite understood that.

It's not that they are being replaced... though I wish... it's just that ESNPU and Fox Sports won't use such an insignificant, unintelligent, incapable person for their play-by-plays...

Graber might be okay if we had had someone else to do the play by play... but I would rather have a color analyst with more expierence... make Graber the sideline reporter for USF, that would be fine by me...
