download that file, unzip and put in any folder, like your My Documents folder.

Then go to your Wallpaper settings, browse and choose the countdown.html file.

I haven't tested it out over the course of a day, but it is a simple javascript running off your PC's clock, identical to the one brad posted above.

It isn't a flashy thing like the clemson one.  But that can be done as well.

That's a great start!

Now we just need to get some cool graphics and stuff to make it "flashy!"   Exactly what I wanted though.  Too cool.  THANKS!

I was looking at it wondering why it said 56 days until the game, then read all the way through the thread.  The bit about it being linked to my PC clock got me to look at my date, and it was set for July...

Here is another version that contains 10 pictures that rotate through every 15 seconds.  It to is in zip format.  Just unzip it to a folder and set the wallpaper to countdown.html 

You can edit the script to put in your favorite pictures or add to the list.  Just make sure to adjust the number_of_images variable to the number of pictures you have.
