So How do you guys think teams compare?

I think the line in 05 has more talent and weight

lbs 05 is better and more depth

Db's 05 has great potential but Reed -Verpaele in 03 were very good.

over all 05 looks better in my book

there is talent and then there is desire...let them prove that they are better on the field of play. personally i hope as hell that they do!

How far our Defense has improved will determine what our record will be. If they play like last year then it doesnt matter who the QB is.

We had terrible QB play in 2003 yet we had won 7 games. If the defense returns to South Florida standards of keeping the games close and making big plays I think it can make a world of difference.

Remember, half the BE teams we play are rebuilding their offenses from scratch or are not offensive juggernaunts: WVU, Cincy, UCONN, Syracuse and Rutgers. If we can't contain these teams to keep give our offense a chance then we do have big problems this year.

UL and PITT are going to be a handful.

A couple of changes.  Tavarious Robinson is floating between DE, and DT.  He's up to 275lbs, and is moving inside for good.

2005 DE's starters right now are Royal and Simmons (slimly); then Julmiste, George and Allen with Buie anticipated an possibly a new face.  I expect Julmiste to overtake Simmons by PSU.

2005 DT- I expect Cray to start next to Jones.

Drametrice Smith will be a factor at LB.
