Alumni Tailgates for Road games

Whats everyone takes on the Alumni tailgates (at road games)? I've been to a bunch, and all with the exception of Oklahoma have pretty much blown.

Someone mentioned that it just isnt a good value in the road package thread. I have to agree. For the price you could do you own tailgate pretty nice.

The 2 drink max at these events has to go....for $25-40 you should be able to put down some pre-game beverages.

Im sure the big schools do it up nice.

That's what I've noticed to, but I don't want to call them on it because they put a lot of work into it. Those alumni functions tend to be more to the white collar graduate then the Bluto worshipping graduates like ourselves. I tailgate for every game I goto... we all have different degrees. I want throw back a six'er before the game and some dogs... that's not the crowd they're trying to market to unfortunately. Hang out with the Feldman's... that's a family that gets their drink on and makes a day of it! See ya at PSU!
