TAMPA (Feb. 1 2017)— Head women’s soccer coach Denise Schilte-Brown announced today the signing of 12 players for the 2017 season. The group consists of six players from the state of Florida, two from New Jersey, and one each from Canada, Texas and Virginia.

The new class will be tasked with replacing ten seniors that led USF to new heights. The 2016 graduating class reached to conference championship matches, two NCAA tournaments and a program-high ranking of No. 14 in 2016. The 12 newcomers will be tasked with continuing the legacy and taking USF to even greater heights in the years to come.

“I think this is one of the most exciting and competitive classes that we’ve ever had,” assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Jason Dowiak said. “We have a lot of Florida players that we’re excited chose USF and players from areas that we haven’t been able to tap into before. All in all, the depth that we’ve added to the future is really exciting.”
