That's why next year they should be more consistent. The same can be said for our softball team which also has a lot of young pitchers and players who need time to develop.

a couple of sporadic "big" wins does not make a season when there are like 60 games

no but it sure helps!  And a couple of sporadic bad losses doesn't kill make a bad season either.
