USF WBB starts the season tomorrow at home vs North Florida and we will get our first chance to see our new team in action.

Meanwhile, UCONN, who also lost some key players, will face off tonight against a very good FSU team on the road. The Huskies have a murderous out of conference schedule and this will be their first real test.

So, I figured some here might be interested in watching this game, since we will be facing UCONN a number of times once again this season.

Unless I see UCONN not good in WBB I will assume that they are the #1 contenders for the title.

It is conceivable that UCONN might have a few early losses, considering their tough schedule . But, by the end of the regular season they will most likely be in position to make a strong run for another national championship.

Last year, UCONN was beating even the very good teams by at least 20 points. So, they could be not as solid starting this season and still have enough of a cushion to win just about every game they play.

FSU leads UCONN 17-16 after the first quarter.

Gabby Williams already has three fouls.

UCONN has a smaller roster and is getting out rebounded by a lot.

We will have a bigger team than UCONN.

UCONN has a 75 game winning streak on the line.

FSU lead UCONN 34-30 at the half.

Another UCONN starter has three fouls.

FSU had 10 more FG tries in the half.

UCONN leads 51-47 after three quarters.

If FSU could shot half decently, they would be way ahead.

UCONN has been in foul trouble the entire game. Yet, FSU is shooting long shots instead of driving to the basket and trying to take more advantage of the foul situation.

UCONN 75-74 with 21 seconds left. UCONN has the ball.

UCONN 77-74 fouls on a THREE pointer.  FSU made first two and now shooing to tie. She MISSED the third FT, but FSU HAS the ball with 13 seconds left.
