    I've been inside UCF's....it's nice enough. No oven if you open those side panels on the side facing BHNS . you don't need to train in 72 degree perfect central AC conditions when most of your games are in the Florida heat

    $20 million? are they including offices as part of the facility? It can be done for a lot cheaper and you can save money for the Football stadium

    Jimbo Fisher stood up and defended his Player despite the fact that the media had already convicted him & only wanted to tell 1 side of the story. That goes a long way when parents decide where they want to send their kids to play Football.

    is there a Publix on the edge of the USF campus anywhere? The FSU one is right on the edge of their Greek Row(where Jamies got his crab legs) and UCF has one on McCulluch across the street from a wooded trail that leads to Lake Claire & UCF's Greek Row

    He's not a UCF commit. He committed without the new staff ever talking to him and has yet to take an official visit, he would have visited the 15th if the staff accepted him. Not saying he isn't a good player but he's one of those mix ups between the old and new staff

    maybe as a little kid or other later stage in life but College Life is much better in warm weather states. Almost the entire Spring semester is borderline gray depressing for a lot of these BIG 10 schools, by the time it warms up it is summer break

    USF has had what 1 winning season in the last 4 years? pump the brakes The South Florida Player of the Year at RB just committed last weekend. He's a big piece that will fit Frost's offense. Him and Killins will be fun to watch in the backfield, slot, etc

    Houston is recruiting on a different level right now which is scary for the rest of the league. Herman is a great recruiter and a good gameday x&os Coach I think Frost will close strong considering the mess he walked into, UCF only had 6 verbals when he was hired.

    does the AAC hate max fan turnout for this game? Football game on Thanksgiving and the basketball game at UCF when students are still on Winter break(classes resume January 11th)

    if the UCONN rumors are true I give up on college sports Big12 is supposed to be a Football First Conference and they want to add UCONN? Have they seen their games, it's a depressing MAC like atmosphere. USF & UCF go back and forth on childish attendance jabs but I can guarantee both schools would average near 50K fans instantly when the Home schedule turns to Texas/OU, WVU, USF/UCF, Baylor, etc every other season. At UCONN? They care about college basketball some but are mostly obsessed with Pro Sports and Baseball

    if any of those 3 is a lock it's Cincy bc of the geographical bridge to WVU.

    assuming OP still lives in Jupiter UCF is a very popular choice in that area, especially in Boca. FSU is a fun school.

    McElwain likes Shannon a lot, he was stressing his importance to his program when the rumors of Collins to UCF. I'd be surprised to see Shannon make that move when he still believes he could be a Head Coach again.

    His numbers weren't that great but not bc he wasn't capable, O'leary bogged down the offense too much and stayed run first until UCF was in trouble then he opened it up and let Bortles sling it. He wouldn't have got invited anyway. Heisman are Brand Snobs

    yeah heard the Basketball Arenas was a major point. USF's was state funded while UCF's at the time was basically a Garage. Also Lee Roy Selmon was a big name helping you guys at the time.

    I don't think it's about that. This blogger(homer alert) kind of sums up why Frost is a breath of fresh air compared to GOL. We won't know for a few years if he is a good HC but it's the feelings of a lot of UCF fans & I think even USF fans agree about the points about O'leary..

    yeah when I see the criticism about UCF's stadium I'm wondering if the same fans have been to other college football stadiums around the country. the majority of the stadiums are 75% bleachers. The only difference is some of those venues have full facades built right away where you don't see the exposed steel

    Florida will always be FSU's #1 Rival with Miami being the Secondary rival. Florida-FSU has a more classic generational family rivalry where fans always know family & friends that went to either school and you have houses divided. With Miami it's not the same bc most of their fans never stepped foot on that campus. That's why USF-UCF could develop into that bc both are huge public schools so it's the same dynamic but with programs that are very young and still trying to build a tradition. You can't force natural rivalries
