I'm trying to keep an optimistic view on Floyd starting. I have these images burned in my head of him fumbling what seems like every snap. The fact that Taggart said the difference was night and day from Spring gave me hope. I trust Willie Taggart and respect his decision. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want Bench to start, but that's mainly because I've seen Eveld and Floyd and didn't like what I saw at that time. It's hard for me to imagine much worse. Here's to revamped hopes and fresh starts!

Anybody know if ESPNNews games are shown on ESPN3? I assume no, but one can hope. I don't have ESPNNews as part of my Prime HD Verizon Package, but I have access to ESPN3 which I have used numerous times.

I'd leave my tailgate to go to this and head back. The only concern is that it would be 2 hours before gametime. I'm sure there are lots of people who still aren't there at that time. It's a good idea and a good initiative to start something at USF.

I hope someone can step up and appease him. I just don't see it in Eveld. I haven't seen much special out of him the years he's been here. Floyd makes A LOT of mistakes. Bench and White are unproven. I'm hoping White is able to take a redshirt and Bench is able to step up and prove to be better than Floyd or Eveld. Because I haven't seen Bench much, I'm hoping he is successful and gets the starting job if he proves he can learn the offense. Haven't had to worry about a QB in a while. I feel like we were spoiled with Matt and BJ. Here's to hoping we have a QB that at least performs decently well.

For Verizon, You have to pay $10/month for what I think is a crappy sports package and the CBS station isn't even in HD. I hope they stay on ESPN for my sake, but we should be able to watch them on Fox Sports 1 in the future when we join the B12

I actually don't mind ESPN3 mainly because I can't watch CBS Sports in HD, but I can on ESPN3. My Xbox has an awesome ESPN app which let's me stream games and can actually watch two games at once if I wanted. You could always just hook your computer up to a TV via HDMI and view it that way as well.

@ExpansionRumors looks like they were just created on Twitter and so far they just look like a hub of other people's information like MHver3 and TuxedoYoda. I don't think they claim to have their own sources like The Dude, MHver and Yoda

First off, are they even selling tickets for $4?? I couldn't find anything about it ... and considering the knucklehead who started the thread, the veracity is in serious doubt. Second, there's no way they're selling $4 or even $10 tickets in sections where you've got donors paying $40-$50, plus the BC donation ... That's the advantage of having the large capacity stadium. I completely agree with Jim's "butts in the seats" mantra. We don't know that it doesn't, but we could have the opinion that it shouldn't. This is now an outside presence talking about a USF OCS. Just got a kick out of it because fans think about it enough already. Now an outside source mentions it.

Looks like the coaches had the players out on the field at 3am for practice and scrimmages. The coaches are on Twitter saying how well the players responded. Players woke up to a sign that said, "GET COMFORTABLE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE" The players seem to have taken it well and it put a little pep in their step. Andre Davis on Twitter, among others seemed proud of the fact they were up early and got in their scrimmages, etc. before sunrise Gotta love the attitude of the team this offseason. I'm getting really pumped for the season to start!
