  1. With Eveld there is no progress. He is the same as he was three years ago. Every once in a while he will have a decent game but for the most part he is just flat out bad. He may have even gotten worse by adding all the out of bounds throws and scrambling before pressure even arrives to his repertoire.
  2. Ah, you are talking about Disney. Disney is definitely not Orlando, and at least 45 minutes from UCF. The Disney comparison is more like saying Plant City is part of Tampa. I see that now. Every advertisement that I have seen says it is in Orlando but in reality it is Lake Buena Vista. Bring on the tar and feathers...
  3. I'll take 2 if you still have them. PM me about how you want payment if you still have them.
  4. I wouldn't think there are too many teams that could win many games with our QB's. I am becoming more confident that Taggart knows what he is doing and will get the guys that fit his system. He knows what to look for and true freshmen are making plays. We are going to be good again and quite possibly REALLY good once he gets his guys.
  5. I wasn't talking about downtown Orlando. Disney is considered in Orlando. Just like New Tampa is considered in Tampa.
  6. It won't let me paste the map on here but they just drew a circle with a radius of 75 miles and considered that a viewing area. Tampa, St Pete, and Clearwater get the same tv stations and probably support USF since they are very close. Not too many people care about UCF in Daytona or Brevard County.
  7. That study map also put orlando into the Tampa market and vice versa.
  8. Why do they group Orlando with Melbourne and Daytona? They are farther away than Tampa is to Orlando. I lived in the Melbourne area for over two years and nobody gave a rat's butt about UCF football and we did not get Orlando TV. 1. Melbourne and Daytona are closer to Orlando than Tampa is. 2. I would assume these are TV markets. Orlando TV stations reach Melbourne and Daytona, not Tampa. I could get to Orlando from my old Tampa apartment in a little over 50 minutes. It took me well over an hour from Melbourne. From downtown to downtown it is farther, but I am talking about city limits. I guess my point got lost in translation though. The radius of their viewer area was ridiculously big. UCF likes to state they have a huge market when the study overstates their market.
  9. If there is one thing Taggart knows how to do it is developing running backs.

  11. If we somehow manage to upset louisville, i think the red shirt will be reconsidered because if bench cant go there should be no way taggart puts a bcs bowl bid on the shoulders of a former walkon who goes 8-28 in a game Eveld played poorly overall but he really didn't go 8-28. Receivers dropped a bunch of balls. His true stats are like 13-28 as the receivers flat out dropped 4-5 balls. And out of those 15, 10 maybe were intentional misses ... See, intentional misses are generally not good. Yeah, if there was an extreme amount of pressure that's fine. But when you stand around for six seconds and don't find a receiver, a lot of times that is on the QB. There were too many times to count that Eveld would take the snap and immediately start running to the sideline and throw the ball out of bounds, not giving a chance to let anything develop. He looks scared out there.
  12. Well Bobby Eveld is now officially the worst QB in all of college football in terms of passer rating... I would think that if we were going to see White this year it would have already happened in the second half of the UConn game. http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/collegeQuarterbackRating/count/81
  13. Glad to see Bright House is stepping up to the plate. Sucks for everybody who doesn't have BHSN though.
  14. Apparently Bench and Shaw wanted to go back into the game Saturday. Currently listed as questionable for the UConn game. http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bulls/bench-shaw-questionable-for-uconn/2145914
  15. I'm not trying to be abrasive, but why so much excitement about Adens? It doesn't look like he's thrown a pass this year and saw very limited action last year. He's second or third string on a JUCO team with a sub 50% completion percentage.
  16. This was the third time in four years Taggart has lost to a really bad FAU team. Looks like FAU might have Taggart's number... It used to be Rutgers that had our number, hopefully FAU (and everyone else we play) doesn't replace them. That would be really depressing.
  17. FAU got the recruits that nobody wanted and still managed to beat us. I don't think the blame should be placed soley on talent.
  18. I hope he does clean up this mess, but either way, losing to FAU and McNeese is inexcusable by many. Isn't his buyout $200,000 per year? I don't see him going anywhere this year but if this continues through next year, with no signs of improvement, I don't see him coming back for a third.
  19. Saturdayblitz.com seems to think so... Taggart comes in at #7. http://saturdayblitz.com/2013/09/15/coaches-hot-seat-top-10/
  20. Anybody going to the tailgate on Woodlawn Ave? If so what house number is it?
  21. Academic Scholars Award via Florida Lottery? 100% tuition plus 300 per semester for books? I love the Florida Lottery for that! Do they still do that? Back when I graduated we had to have a 3.5 unweighted GPA, 1270 SAT (or 28 ACT), and 50 hours of community service. I didn't have any student loans as an undergrad because of that. Grad school was a different story though...
