Always liked DeDe....hope he does well with the Bears. Briggs is out and probably done as a player. DJ Williams will probably be resigned but they are short on LB's so he should have a good chance for playing time. Most likely switching to a 3-4 but far from decided.

Wondering if anyone has seen Rudy Norwood in person and why we haven't pursued him ? He has the size (6-3 / 190) and it a DT QB. He has a nice arm motion/throws a nice ball, looks to be accurate and throws a nice deep ball and also runs pretty decent. I know other majors have interest (UF, Oregon) but I only see offers from Georgia Southern, Temple, UAB and Western Michigan. We desperately need QB's, just wondering why I haven't seen him on our radar ? Looks like he plays with a lot of passion, aggression and good instincts....speed rusher who get's after the QB, ball carrier. He seemed to play down on the DL a lot rushing the passer. Will be curious if they keep him at OLB or with his size ( 6'2" / 225 ) maybe beef him up a little an put him on the edge. If he stays at OLB he'll be real good at blitzing the QB. Hope we can keep him.
