  1. The Woulard era at USF is going to be the start of something great. We should have the talent to win our conference every year.
  2. I guess I am a bad aggie (what they would call a 2%er around here) if I don't know the intricate details of every tradition. I didn't read your full link. There are so many traditions here it is hard to keep track of them all. I'm definitely a bull first and aggie second but I love both universities. I wear my USF shirt and hoodie around campus and have been stopped twice from random students because of it. I've seen two or three other students in USF shirts too. The USF brand is definitely growing, let's hope to keep it with a second win over FSU. Back on topic, I may look into the cost of attending this FSU game. I would rather attend one bulls home game than all of the aggie games, I just get a lot more excited the bulls and Raymond James is a lot more pleasant. My opinion of Kyle Feild stadium is that it is a **** hole (and quite literally because of the bat colony, it smells bad too). I can tell you many fans crying for an OCS take the quality of Raymond James for granted.
  3. They should all transfer if they want to continue to play or just stop playing and exit with their degree. What was going on there was pure evil and they should be disgusted by it. How any player would be proud of such an association is beyond me. They should all be ashamed of the actions of their program.
  4. Wow I was holding off on reading this thread because I thought this whole drama was complete after the NCAA released its penalties but I am in near disbelief at how much more there is to this thing than originally thought. It's pure evil. That is how things like this occur. Evil had a strong hold inside PSU. I think they should get the death penalty for a decade minimum. Indefinite death penalty would be more appropriate. That charity should be shut down. It's my belief that the evil is still lingering somewhere and the only way to irradiate it is to completely shut down the program. The entire institution has a warped sense of morality. Yes it is painful for the players and the fans but evil cannot be allowed to persist. Shuting down the program completely is for the greater good.
  5. 12th man is the crowd. Long time ago team suffered lots of injuries and a guy came from out of the stands during the game and put on pads ready to play if needed. He never entered the game but was the last one on the sideline when the game ended. That is the original 12th man but 12th man now is generally considered a reference to the fans.
  6. Lol I have never heard the 12th presented in that manner.
  7. Does aTm still have the one guy that's on the team only for kick coverage? I am not sure what you are referring to so I can't answer that.
  8. USF tickets are cheap. USF fans are lucky. Student section at Texas A&M is 30,000 students and season football pass for entry into all of the home games is $200 for students. I paid this last year but am not this year because fees are busting my grad student budget. Ticket distribution is by seniority based on class and freshman get last pick and stuck in the top 300 level. To get season tickets as a non student you have to donate I think $1,000 to the 12th man foundation. USF has it really good and ticket prices are really cheap.
  9. 10+ for sure. We have the talent on the field, it's just a matter if the coaching is up to the task. Proper coaching we should be in a BCS bowl.
  10. Well that is a matter of interpretation I think. He was just accessing free public information and delivering it to students. Students would pay him for it. The wording of the conduct code it sounded like it meant not to make money from using the systems email and communication services that students are provided. Like running a business out of a @ucf.edu email. Which he wasn't doing unless he was using his ucf email to set up the app maybe. I guess the reasoning for this is so that no mistaken association is made between a business and the university.
  11. I'm confident he will love the campus. I assume he will take the campus tour. I know I was blown away, and so was my girl friend who was big on FSU but chose USF after I told her how awesome it was and she came and saw the campus and dorms. I hope they are still doing a good job with those campus tours. The campus is even more beautiful now than it was so I imagine it's even better.
  12. I bet these guys would enjoy playing together at USF.
  13. Mr. Woulard and his family are bigger USF fans than some of our own alumni and his son hasn't even started classes here yet. Mr. Woulard I am very grateful for you family's enthusiasm for USF. I wish all of the alumni here were as level headed. USF is a great school. There is a lot more opportunity here for many top recruits than there is at other schools in other conferences. When USF wins the conference and the national championship no one is going to doubt their decision. Recruits can make it all possible by choosing the school where they can shine, USF. Holtz wants to bring a national championship to USF and so do players like Asiantii Woulard. If other recruits want to be a part of it they need to get on board. USF won't stop any one talented enough from reaching the NFL either. We've been sending players to the NFL for years now and some that may not have had the opportunity to stand out else where like they did at USF. It's more than just football too as you can see how Holtz is helping players be successful academically. People make a big hoopla about tradition but it is worth less than its sellers want you to think. The future will be forged from the present, not the past. I attend graduate school where tradition is so important to everyone in this town that it is nausciating, and despite selling out 88,000 seats and being touted as one of the greatest game day experiences ever, I really enjoy USF games a lot more. Tradition along with these huge stadiums is not all its cracked up to be. These recruits need to realize that what they do in their four and five years after signing is what matters, not what some coach or team did years ago. Choosing to come to USF is the best decision many of these recruits can make no matter who else they have offers or interest from. There is really no downside to USF or the Big East. As long as you are winning you are going to have people's attention. I understand recruits wanting to weigh all of their options, but I cannot understand that USF would not end up at the top of their list. USF has so much going for it and for the players who join our Bulls family. It should be the top of the list for all of the players we are recruiting. The smart recruits like Woulard knows this is true. He wants the best for his peers and is trying to help them make the proper choice by asking them to join the Bulls family.
  14. This is of immense interest to all USF alumni. Mods please sticky so more can see.
  15. To rank every single school is quite a ridiculous thing to do in the first place. Because of accreditation requirements the education is mostly the same everywhere, without much separating the better more well known programs from the lesser known ones when it comes to education received. Because there are so many schools, lists like this make the disparity look huge between the top and bottom when it's really not that big. Also, this lists becomes wildly scrambled when considering individual majors.
  16. Well it credits us with being one of the nations top colleges in the opening sentence. What the hell does "when normalized by the aptitude of the student body" I guess that means we just have very apt students. What a silly ranking. Also, my smallest classes at USF were by the easiest ones. Terrible logic used in this article.

    what recession

Excellent post worth sharing. This is of immense interest to all bulls fans. It should be stickied so everyone will see it. Thank you smazza for posting this.
  18. Yeah it does. Did I read that correctly that he made about 8 dollars off of this app? Should have made it a free app and gone with ads, could have made more money. And probably not violated the student conduct I don't think he was in any violation.
  19. Well good thing for this kid employers aren't likely to hold it against him. The guys power point at the bottom really makes UCF look foolish.
  20. He turned around the Olympics. Maybe he can the same for the Big East. He can help the league make acquisitions that can be kept over seas to keep the other conferences from stealing more members.
