yea he definitely needs to gain some weight if 166 is his true weight. that's only 3 more pounds than i weigh and i'm only 5-8. lol as the OP stated, that's quite an impressive list of schools he has to choose from so i would be thrilled if coach T manages to land him. luckily, we're in his top 3.

Makes no sense to do it the cheap way when there's an NFL stadium 10 miles away. It's best to just wait until we can build a top-notch stadium like Minnesota's or Oregon's. Patience is a virtue.

i tweeted coach taggart to take a look at him. the kid can cut on a dime and is very fast. he just needs to add 10 or 15 pounds. i read somewhere that he has a 3.4 gpa and he has time to raise it higher. i hope we offer him.

Yeah, well, look at the interviews with him and his WKU players on the subject and unless you are some kind of cold hearted SOB you'd understand. People talk about how they loved Leavitt for his passion. It goes along with those lines, the passion of doing something well and leaving it right before the pinnacle, for him, and for the players, losing their leader. The dead period forces the issue, but neither CWT or the players think that its not a big deal. No one said the bowl game is not a big deal but he works for USF now. You don't just go from recruiting for USF, trying to build a staff, and watching video of our games to figure out what we need at certain positions to flying up to michigan to coach a bowl game 3 weeks later. He won't know what the game plan is or anything. He's focused solely on USF at this point and doing what he can to make us better. I certainly wouldn't have a problem with him being on the sidelines to support WKU in the game but i doubt even that will happen.

Taggart stated clearly that he was going to go hard recruiting for the next week and then put his staff together during the dead period. He realizes the importance of just one week of recruiting time. I can't figure out why people keep talking about him coaching in the bowl game. He doesn't work for WKU anymore. He's 100% Bull now. Therefore, he needs to be using his time to make us better, not WKU.
