Yeah, well, look at the interviews with him and his WKU players on the subject and unless you are some kind of cold hearted SOB you'd understand. People talk about how they loved Leavitt for his passion. It goes along with those lines, the passion of doing something well and leaving it right before the pinnacle, for him, and for the players, losing their leader. The dead period forces the issue, but neither CWT or the players think that its not a big deal.
No one said the bowl game is not a big deal but he works for USF now. You don't just go from recruiting for USF, trying to build a staff, and watching video of our games to figure out what we need at certain positions to flying up to michigan to coach a bowl game 3 weeks later. He won't know what the game plan is or anything. He's focused solely on USF at this point and doing what he can to make us better. I certainly wouldn't have a problem with him being on the sidelines to support WKU in the game but i doubt even that will happen.
