To be fair, it's clearly more than just an alignment issue. I mean sure if the guys are in the right positions, they still have to make the tackles and get off their blocks, which we've shown we can't do. They lack excitement out there. The guys aren't running around and flying to the ball. It's like they're doing a walkthrough before game day.

I went to snag a few more tix for some friends that have people coming into town and want to attend the game. While the below map shows quite a few sections still available, there are typically 5-10 seats left per section, with the 300 levels being an exception.

We definitely pass the eye test. I read on Twitter we are 11-2 in our last 13 games and are 3-0 this year with all of our wins being blowouts. But as a few others discussed, we had no votes in AP poll last week so there's no way we get ranked there. Coaches poll had about 10 teams in front of us in the "also receiving votes" and more than half of them won and will likely take the spots of those teams that will be falling out.

Both of these teams are beatable.

On top of my 2 season tickets, I've purchased 10 extra tickets to this game on behalf of other Alumni. Additionally, I will likely be purchasing 6-8 more on Sunday when I hear back from friends at work who are thinking about attending.

Just logged into my gousfbulls account to purchase some extra tix for the FSU game and noticed that under my donor level summary it says "total points accrued 0.00." At the end of last year I had over 90 though. Anyone else have this issue or is it just me??? Also, I need to find a way to merge my old student account with my season ticket account cause I have a ton of priority points on there. Not sure why they are separate to begin with.

I agree... When you sit back and think about it logically, they make the most sense. You have to figure that despite the politics, none of the non-TX schools want Houston because it does nothing for the conference. This is all about money and expanding the Big12 footprint. If you have a solid media market and your academics match up, you have to be considered a legit contender. I also don't think that ESPN is steering this ship like they did during the last round of expansion. Personally I think it's FOX, and we all know that they want to go east. If ESPN doesn't bid when it's time to get that new contract, someone else will. Another thing with the stay at 10, expand by 2 more likely than 14 crap. I'm not sure how much I am willing to believe ESPN's "they want 2 over 4" rhetoric. It just rubs me wrong that ESPN has so much invested in this. The conspiracy theorist in me is telling me that they are writing about what they want the Big12 to do, to get everyone talking about it and subconsciously agree with it. I think that when these 11 schools go to interview and they get to voting on 2 or 4 that there may be some schools that don't have enough votes to get in and other schools wont change their votes unless a school they like gets a vote in return. I'm just hoping that there are too many schools that impress them and they have no choice but to run with 4. End rant.

Also... FWIW ECU does have those helmets in their inventory.
