  1. No more firing. Tough love, keep him for the full contract and hope the the Admin has learned a lesson and hire the best available (not necessarily the most angelic purest soul) or poach a winner next time.
  2. Dropping a turd and sneezing at the same time. OUCH!!!
  3. That would be awesome. Read his family is tight, so you never know, he may stick around. Would love to have him for the Texas/BYU games.
  4. Wow, that was one heck of a 2014 class. Hope CWT's 2015 class can top it! Would be nice.
  5. Such a good relief to get this kind of talent on the OL, ESPN 300, 4-stars, all that good stuff. Bout time. A big welcome home and hope he enjoys the home cooking!
  6. Rodney Page note mentions he can play next season. http://www.tampabay.com/hometeam/blog/former-spc-ol-reilly-gibbons-leaves-stanford-will-enroll-usf/21208/
  7. 4 wins is the last 16 games by a total of 17 points does not seem like a recipe for getting into a bowl this year. Unless the Bulls can conjure up some way to score against anybody but the weak I fear there is no bowl in the foreseeable future. Not with this coach, not with these players.
  8. We'll be there. Why? We enjoy spending quality time alone together. And it's getting lonelier every time we go. If you ignore what's happening on the field, it's a nice night out. Really.
  9. I posted this in another thread but I'll repeat here because I think it fits what you're saying: "One thing that needs to be addressed is game day attitude. A common theme I see in post game interviews for both coaches and players this season and last season is: 1. coaches say it's their fault for not getting the team ready to play. 2. Players say they did not come ready to play. So if everybody knows what the problem is, why is it not addressed and corrected. And really, the players need to be more professional. They are on athletic scholarship and should perform to 100% of their ability on game day. Anything less is stealing."
  10. There's still 0-12 and time left on CWT's contract to accomplish that.

  12. I would truly love to see Leavitt back. I was angry at him for bringing the program to a plateau and then stagnating. I got spoiled. But now, this program is so far down in the valley of the lost, that “plateau†would be a wonderful place to be again.
  13. Geez, you'd think the other guys would feel sorry for us and let us score for humanity's sake.
  14. I said a couple years back, and I still suspect. There is a big problem behind the scenes we don't know about. Drugs, booze, women, ??? Maybe we should just kill the program for a few years and start all over again. Totally fumigate the football program, coaches, players, everyone. I fear something real bad is going on here.
  15. Big difference between now and the Banks/Julmiste era is USF had a great defense back then and the coaches/players figured out a way to win. Maybe the players are not hearing the message correctly, maybe they hear "DoNothing" instead of "dosomething." This is just sickening.
  16. It hurts, but this is what I expected. The whole season, I fear, will be like this. Oh well. What can you do.
  17. …but they are the team to beat in the AAC. That QB Holman, what a gem. I saw in him what I think it takes to be a winner: heart for the game, football smarts, great arm, great legs, and an outstanding mature staff coaching him. Yes, they lost today, but while he was on the field they outscored Penn St. 21-13, and 3 of those 13 came as time expired. USF? We have a starting QB who has yet to win a game with a coaching staff still struggling to find themselves. They’re on the right track but have a long, long road ahead of them. There, I got it off my chest. Now I can go to the game tonight with no false expectations. I’ll take the game for what it is—entertainment.
  18. Why would Papa Johns give you free movie tix? I think that's a reference to the Kane's/Muvico ticket exchange promotion of the last few years. I called a local Kane's and they said, “maybe†but they wouldn't know for sure until the season starts. Last year the team needed 200 yards total offense for ticket holders to get a free Muvico voucher, which was a struggle a few times.
  19. This is a downer. He was fun to watch. He looked like he was always hustling from one end of the court to the other. Hate to see him go.
  20. USF 5-stars, all transfers: Mike Ford, 2007 Xfer from Ala. Jason Pierre-Paul, 2009, JC Xfer Darrell Scott, 2010 , Xfer from Col. Chris Dunkley, 2011, Xfer from UF Aaron Lynch, 2012, Xfer from ND
  21. Very Bad -- No Muvico tickets since they did not get 200 yds total offense.
