  1. It must be his combined yards: Rushing: REC YDS AVG TD LG 7 27 3.9 0 15 Receiving: REC YDS AVG TD LG 6 52 8.7 0 13 Punt Returns: NO YDS AVG LG 2 15 7.5 14 Kick Returns: NO YDS AVG LG 2 38 19.0 27 132 All-purpose by my count. Sounds like that's what he was talking about.
  2. new coach, new scheme, new ballgame. If White is the best QB on the roster come opening day, then he should start.
  3. Maybe he was also counting receiving and return yards.
  4. I'd say a QB in Orlando might disagree. That QB in Orlando is not a commit.
  5. This kid is also the answer for our return game. Both punts and kicks.
  6. He does not have an offer from Clemson. And as of now he doesn't have one from Kentucky either. Yes, because you can read minds. None of us know who has any offers until they actually sign. Dude if Woulard had scholarship offers from UK and Clemson he would've said something on twitter about it.

  8. And you are certainly entitled to it. Unfortunately, with recent lack of success coupled with USF not in a power 5 conference, pulling the kids we used to will be more difficult unless we can start winning again. This class will not be that great, star-wise, but if it makes the sting go away somewhat, Mike White was ranked by ESPN and they gave him a pretty good ranking and scouting report.
  9. ESPN Analyst Updated 01/07/2013 From a drop back passing standpoint, White has fallen under the radar in our opinion for those programs that want a crisp, strong armed pocket passer that can work through progressions and make a variety of throws to all three levels of the field. He has very good size, height and the frame to bulk up. We like his balance and feet for a bigger guy. He has a good understanding of timing, gets set quickly and can get rid of the ball in a hurry when he needs to. He can see the entire field. Has experience with an array of throws in this scheme and is an accomplished deep ball passer with excellent touch. Shows very good zip on underneath throws and has enough arm strength to fit the ball into some tight spots on short and intermediate throws. His timing and his accuracy are both solid. He shows that he has decent ability to move in the pocket to buy time to throw, however, he is not much of a threat to pull the ball down to run. Throws well on the run to both sides on designed bootlegs and roll outs. Has the arm to drive the ball when on the move with power and zip. We like White's upside as a ball handler and play-action passer from within the pocket. He can get hot and into rhythm and look really good. There are tools to mold here not only for non-BCS programs, but potentially for some bottom-tier BCS schools who are looking for a passer from within the pocket.
  10. For those fans who wanted a recruiting site to evaluate and rank this kid, your wish has been granted by ESPN. And the ranking is not that bad if you ask me, http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/school?id=58
  11. +1 This is typical talk from a fan of a team with a crappy class so far. Bottom line is, this class is underwhelming so far. Hopefully, the staff can pick it up soon. Oh, and stars do matter and it's easy to play the exception game when you want to make people feel better. I guess that you think that Skip had one of the best classes ever at USF. Using the star system our class last year has to rank among the best. http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/commitments/2012/usf-655http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/commitments/2012/usf-655 Yea, Skip had a good class last year based on rankings. What's your point? +1 This is typical talk from a fan of a team with a crappy class so far. Bottom line is, this class is underwhelming so far. Hopefully, the staff can pick it up soon. 12. Catching Fire is coming out this year. Maybe some District 12 unis

Oh, and stars do matter and it's easy to play the exception game when you want to make people feel better. What exactly are you talking about? Who is talking specifically about this class. This was said in response to all the best recruits will be snatched up by the best schools. There are more great athletes than scholarships, you just have to find them. CWT is going to evaluate them himself, not relying on Scout or Rivals, who have been proven WRONG, repeatedly. How about getting on the same page as the rest of us? This whole thread is related to our current class even if it's not directly stated so. I'm talking about a class that is below average so far and there's no disputing that. I'm sure coach CWT is doing a fine job evaluating talent, but he hasn't had enough time and this class will be average at best because of this. If being on the same page as the rest of you is accepting an average class, then I'll pass. I'm rooting for the guy though and I hope I'm wrong. Honestly, with the current conference reallignment crap with USF being left in the abyss, we're lucky to have this class and will be lucky to get the kids that eventually commit here.
  14. The funniest part about this is that the best recruit, star-wise, that we have a legit shot at, many of this fan base don't want.
  15. Sounds like a solid walk-on option, or Signing Day class filler.
  16. This is Holtz's class that Taggart is mopping up. Plz don't judge Taggart on this class. If anything, he's pulled our three best commitments in the class with Godwin, Fennel and Swain.
  17. Clemson has FOUR underclassmen QBs on roster. Three of them are legit. The job is Boyd's next year. After he leaves, it will be between Cole Stoudt, Chad Kelly, and Tony McNeal with Morgan Roberts also in the fold. Woulard will have a hard time breaking that depth chart with these kids getting head starts being there before him.
  18. There are rumblings that the last visit will be on the west coast. Don't know the team and if I did, everybody else would.
  19. Pretty soon we'll be in the same conference, so it's not concerning at all. Good to get a leg up on our competition.
