  1. With the way we've been playing, I'd say probably about the same as Pesos to USD. 1 US Dollar equals 12.73 Mexican Peso OK, so we do 13-1 instead of 3-1. I'm down with that. I took as him saying we'd get the 1 This. With the direction we were heading we were on track to end up a pay to play opponent.

  3. On the same note, USA Today mentions both Cincinnatti and Louisville in their "Ten winners and losers on national signing day." http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2013/02/06/national-signing-day-winners-losers-mississippi-texas-am/1896967/#
  4. Love the enthusiasm. This kid is going to go far.
  5. Big deal. A future B10 team got a Tampa kid. Marshall (Shykeem Pitts) and FIU (Vontarius West) have the same number of committments from top bay area prospects: 1. Toledo is the top choice for a four-star St. Pete WR (Rodney Adams). It happens. Kids go places other than USF. If you want to complain about someone in the conference killing Florida recruiting, go after Louisville. They've got committments from 5 of the Top 100 Florida kids and are finalists for 3 more. Understandably so after the way they tore UF up on national TV. If we had seasons like them, we'd be getting these kids, too.
  6. 6ft 200lbs is small? He would instantly be the tallest RB on the team and only a few pounds lighter than are heaviest backs. He could easily bulk up to 215-225 in a year making him our biggest back since Mike Ford. This. 200 pounds is a good weight coming out of HS. At 6'0", he's got the frame to add some weight. I'm glad he's got a little height. Hans can put some bulk on him, but you can't make him taller. Excited to see him take the field.
  7. http://blogs.newsobserver.com/uncnow/marquise-williams-no-longer-enrolled-at-unc Fedora says he's still a member of the team and expects him to re-enroll this summer. I don't even see that he has any Florida connections.
  8. Going to coach Special Teams. I like the Bucs, but geez. It's bad enough I have to look at Schiano's mug on Sundays, but now the 'stache, too? http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8906311/dave-wannstedt-hired-tampa-bay-buccaneers-special-teams-coordinator-according-source
  9. Creepy, much? This is what I imagine was waiting at the car for him.
  10. You calling him an alkie? Committed to the spirits? No, he's native American, committed to the rain dance and the peace pipe. Just like Elizabeth Warren. Yes, that is why he was an Indian giver on his verbal commitment Good for AW, he needs to go where he will be happy and achieve his potential. If he wants to go to a school where he will be a footnote rather than a Hall of Fame Alumni that is his choice. This. If he's as good as advertised, makes some noise in the Spring Game, and is the starter come August, there will probably be a 90-minute+ line to get his autograph at Fan Fest, at least there was for Grothe and Daniels the past few years. Not sure what UCLA's fan day is like, but I'm not sure there'd be much demand for the 2nd or 3rd string QB.
  11. Good thing he graduated. It'd be hard to get those credits to transfer as we don't offer degrees in couch burning. Edit: Nevermind, after reading the link, he is from WKU, not WVU.
  12. After 3 days? Do any of these kids know what the word commit means?
  13. He's committed to Cincinnati. Is there indication that he's looking at us?
  14. I'm not up to date on my slang but i assume 'perka' is short for 'perkalater' which is someone who is a good time to be around. Right?

  16. So in other words, offer him so he can keep his options open and maybe have us near his top 3?
  17. "Near 4-star," is that a new rating? Simple explanation. If he commits to Pitt, WVU, or UK, he's a four-star prospect. If he comes here, he's a three star prospect.
  18. It's an interesting tweet. I wonder if that means they're going to the same school or if he just mentioned them in the same sentence because we're targeting them both. The only offers I can see in common for them (based on Yahoo's offer list) is Utah, South Alabama, and USF. If they're both planning on going to the same school and both plan on taking scholarships (not walking on), then I would thing that bodes well for us (assuming that offer list is accurate).
  19. This. For the love of God. ----------- x100 In all honesty, I don't care if he signs or not. Hopefully we get someone like a John O'Korn, Akeem Jones, or at least a JUCO instead to complement our recruiting class. With that in mind, this "lock the thread" talk sounds like sour grapes because some people don't like what he's done. Being butt hurt because he is still exploring options isn't a reason to lock a thread. Rafferty, Kemp, Hardison, etc. are likely going elsewhere, but they still have unlocked threads. Has he even said anywhere that he's leaning more towards another school than USF? All I've seen is that his father enjoyed the Clemson visit the most. Stop pouting, man up, and leave the thread alone if you don't like it. Christ sakes.
  20. So, are we going to lock every recruit topic from the last 8 years, too? The Carlton Hill thread is still open.
  21. http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1457850 As of 1/8: Fred Coppet Running Back 5-foot-9 | 176 | St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) Buzz: Coppet spoke to coach Larry Scott and is trying to arrange a date for a visit. He said USF is still "very high" on his list. He recently received an offer from Houston where teammate John O'Korn has committed. If the Bulls can get Coppet, they may be able to flip O'Korn.
  22. Really...Taggert offers a QB that has thrown more int's than TD's? He should look at Alex M @ Gaither HS....Not sure of why he offered that 10th grader? I'm not sure if he offered the Hillsborough HS QB, I thought he did based on your comments. You originally posted "Coach T goes and gets the Hillsbrough QB." I assumed you were talking about Hillsborough HS, but I think you were referring to Mike White since you posted "This kid is the real deal and hate to say better than any Tampa QB period!" in his thread. Mike White is not in Tampa or anywhere in Hillsborough county, he is from University HS in Fort Lauderdale. Based on your topic, everyone thought you were talking about Taggart offering someone we hadn't heard about.
  23. Seriously? The Bucs had the 5th best interception total in the NFL this past season. Interceptions weren't their problem - it was the lack of an every-down pass rushing threat and an inability of the cornerbacks to cover receivers. Why are there so many misconceptions about how and where the Bucs struggled? I think he was referring to the Bulls' DBs and their lack of interceptions.
