I was just looking over the CBF headlines. You make good points Dogma. I feel like the defense has been a bend don't break style defense, which is what you get with a base nickel defense. I'd like to see woodie mix in more aggressive fronts and more of a mean streak from our team, but overall the defense has been fine (outside yesterday). I'm feeling good about the team. This wasn't supposed to come off as an overreaction thread. I'm sure VanGorder is looking for work and just maybe he could be an addition to bring in some ideas. I'm not saying we need him.

Would anyone be interested in bringing in VanGorder to help Woodie out? Obviously, he didn't work out for ND, but maybe he could help us sure up our defense.

Noles fans are awful and as bad as any CBF. Nothing classy about this fan base or this school.

Rough day at the office for out bulls today. I'm really concerned about natti next week.

I'll think we'll be close, but not quite top 25. We haven't beaten good enough teams to push us into the rankings, but when we upset the noles next week we will ranked.

I thought at 17 pts down we were done, but once we got to 14-17 I felt pretty positive. I love how they responded to a tough situation on the road. I hope we can step it up next week. Beating the noles at home next week would be a hellva way to go into conference play.

This is just awful. Our defense looks pathetic. I hope we can turn it around.

I'm looking forward to seeing what we are made of next weekend. I have a few reasons to think next weekend could be a closer contest then most people think. 1) I believe it was BJ's first ever start when we beat FSU up in Tally so techinally we have more experienced QB's going in to this game. QF is as athletic as BJ. BJ's wasn't quite the passing threat he became when we beat FSU. 2) Imo, we have better skill players now than we did then. Most of the offense in that win came off a few splash plays and we are capable of that this time too. 3) Special teams were massive last time we beat the noles and our special teams might be one of the streanghts of this team. I think our special teams can really help the defense with field position. It's true noles weren't as good then as they are now and our defense was probably better back then, but all things considered I think we have a punchers chance. Anyone else agree with this?

I wish him luck and hope he does well. It's always fun to root for bulls who go pro in any sport.

I have two degrees from USF and will never give up on any athletic program. I'm proud to be a part of this school. Besides,most sports teams I root for seem to suck, but it’s part of being a fan. No one likes a bandwagon. Go bulls!

Based on this it looks like UCONN has a good pass defense. Is this a product of their schedule or are they really that solid? Looks like Navy had their way with them. How do we match up with this team I haven't really seen any UCONN games this year?

Jenkins does look really soft this year. I think he defiantly has the skills to get the job done, but he has yet to show that he is the impact player we need him to be. Let be honest though EVERYONE in the last game did a poor job finishing off their tackles. No need to worry though there are plenty of plays yet to be made and hopefully we can get started this weekend.
