  1. We thought we did in Benzer and Alvarado. Can't tell how kids are going to respond mentally.
  2. If we got to the Gator or BCS I would take 0-2. I would prefer winning, but playing FAU or North Texas in the New Orleans Bowl is as low as we can get, and we would get no credit for winning; God forbid we lose.
  3. He just writes articles to rile people up. This will generate more responses than "SEC Best, BIG EAST go home"
  4. OL commits.  Edited subject for spelling.
  5. Am I the only one who thinks playing in against a SunBelt team in a bowl game is uninteresting?
  6. Actually, in sheer numbers of top-100 florida players, USF recruits more than Louisville. However, they have been very successful about cherrypicking some recruits. Combining this with their successful recruiting of their home base leads to success.
  7. Sir! May I have one of what he is having please? ;D
  8. We do not have a run game as good as Lousiville's that WVU would have to respect. Even if our passing game was as good as Louisville's. Meaning they should be able to put more people into coverage and play action will not work as well.
  9. When will the fireworks be? 9ish? Kid would love to see them.
  10. Well I hope we do not replicate the 5 or 6 end arounds we had last year which did not work. Maybe just one.
  11. ok. I assumed (stupid of me) that with so few seniors and with 100 players practicing in the fall that we would only have around 15. However, you would know better than I.
  12. I understand that we will have about 15 scholarships for next year. Is that right? Of those we already have 8 taken: Quenton Washington, Alton Voss, Kevin Dixon, Donte Spires, Claude Davis, Jeremiah Warren, David Fonua amd Patrick Richardson. Other than Warren none of these are offensive linemen, and warren was listed at DT I thought. Also, Washington is a DB most likely so we do not have a RB. Given the few slots available I hope we are heavily recruiting OL, RB and one more QB (as Voss has ability to play safety).
  13. We should ditch the spread and run a more conventional offense. The only reason I can think for keeping the spread is that the spread is designed for less talented teams to keep defenses spread out and move the ball.
  14. How is Matt doing anyways? Hope he's doing well and getting ready for Pitt.
  15. Going back to last year, it seems that when Amarri is running with energy and involved the offense seems livelier. When he is lackadaisical, like Sunday night, this seems to rub off on the others as well. This is even in games when Amarri is not statistically that involved. He, more than any other player seems to have that affect. Am I seeing things?
  16. His arm strength may be average. His poise is much above average, up until this last game. I expect him to rebound.
  17. Jermiah Warren at DE/DT, David Fonue at DE/DT and Donte Spires at DT. The first 2 are recruits from last year. Fonua has qualified already. Spires is JUCO.
  18. He was not. He is 2 stars in both. Their offense is run based, so they only threw 4 times, and completed all 3 to him. He is listed at about 5'10" and 165 pounds. Seems like he will benefit from redshirting a year and bulking up. Hope we can keep him, and hope he qualifies.
  19. Even if all our wins were over bad teams, our wins are getting better. The team is better. The last two wins were better than the first 3. I hope we continue to improve.
