    Only problem is that we have produced draft picks before. Multiple picks in one draft. Hell the first class had Anthony Henry.

    I would worry about Kevin Smith, I think he is a good back. However, you can have four 5th-year seniors in the secondary and it won't matter if we throw it 10 times again.

    Good story. I half expected to hear about how you saved money on car insurance.

    Maybe the US Open, he missed this year's Masters.

    Bien, I was high on Taurus Johnson too. However he short armed a pass last year against WVU, and he dropped 2 or 3 (flat out dropped) in the spring game. He's young and has the ability to turn it around, but maybe Marcus Edwards is the oine to look at.

    Defense was basic all night. The trick plays are a royal pain. I counted 4 end-arounds, a flanker pass (pulled down and run), a halfback pass (pulled down and run) and a throwback pass back to the QB (was a forward pass) which Severino pulled down and ran. Rather than working on fundamentals for 7 more plays, they did this stuff. Hopefully, they were doing it more for the defense than the offense.

    ET, You may not recall, but at the end of the season I said that RP was a good straight ahead back but never showed any wiggle. I can report (and am sure you will see on tape) that in fact RP has a lot more wiggle than I gave him credit for. A couple nice runs last night.

    I think Grothe made tremendous strides in the game. First throw was bad (arm strength?) . The pick in the endzone was a freshman trying to do too much. The touchdown pass was nice. Tribune had him 11-19, 1 TD and 2 INT. Over 50% passing. Admittedly, no blitzing and softer coverage, but neither PJ nor CHill were at 50%.

    I though the current coaching staff was shunning the community and not reaching out? On another note, I assume all the coaches in attendance now can run Voodoo 5.

    Hall in Indianapolis would be a good fit I think.

    ET, do you know when they will start moving people around from existing seats to new seats?

    Night spring game on Easter Weekend. Lots of poor planning in that. Having said that I will probably be there.

    Joe I generally agree that we need time. However, time is not the only thing, look at UCF. Any extra steps we can take to bring new fans in, especially young ones we should do.

    After returning from Charlotte I watched the game on DVR and it was worse than when I saw it live. You could see the edge rusher coming up the field, you knew it was an option to that side as they had one RB come in motion that way and yet they ran the play anyway. I think one time PJ saw the guy line up that side, look for an audible and ran the play anyways. exbull is exactly right on this. It is horrible.

    Wasn't there an arrest for having sex in the bathroom? THAT is a reason to never play the game agian.
