  1. Year after year they can't get the concessions open!! I really don't get it! The Club is over-sold (to accommodate 100 level) - packed in like sardines - but they can't get vendors to open.
  2. Why leave 24 seconds on the clock?? Let it run to 5. (Or was that Temple's t/o?)
  3. So. Much. THIS.!! Personally I was trying to hold out until 2023 for the Bama game, but given the relentless nosedive - I dunno - I don't see forking over $2K (or more????) to keep my two seats past this season And that really sucks, because we've had season tix since Day 1. There's a limit though. The original "demotion" to the AAC from the Big East was bad enough, but somehow this "demotion" (IMO) through "expansion" feels even worse. Personally, I can't get excited about any of these newly added teams. It certainly feels like we're paying "P5" ticket prices for this very subpar product (sorry y'all) and now, even worse, conference. I'd love to see a season ticket reduction (say, 50%???) so that I can justify another year... but I think we'd have a better shot at a Top 10 ranking this season than that happening. And BTW, I agree w/ jchem1995 - I have A LOT of appreciation for all John Lewis (and others in the ticket office) have done over the years, so I hate getting all salty in post that has his name attached to it. I'm rooting for y'all... but sadly I may have to finally give up my seats.
  4. Just renewed so we're in for at least 2. I figured with CSG out of the picture I was pretty much obligated to renew
  5. The game just disappeared from the Fox Sports Go app on my end. Anyone else?
  6. OH? That crackerjack reporting around here.. I've read 4 articles now plus the post on the City of Tampa page - and none of them make it very clear! lol They said he pulled into the apartment complex to "let HC pass" - then "continued to drive toward his apartment" - then stopped again - still inside the same apartment complex - and then then shooting happened. So I guess I read that he continued to drive toward his apartment in that complex.. Who knows. Are you saying that there is a different report that says neither of them lived in there? Just curious now.
  7. Does HC live in that same apartment complex where the family lives - where this whole shooting took place? If not - or if he was not able to prove that he knew and was visiting someone that lived in there - that would pretty much paint him as the "aggressor" in this situation. Otherwise, once the family turned into their apartment complex, HC would have kept on motoring down the road. If he followed them in there, I suspect that shows that he was "not in fear for life" and that he was the aggressor.. therefore the quick arrest / charges.
  8. Why the heck would the WatchESPN app be blocked but not the website?? Is that common? First time I've seen it.
  9. Does anyone know if it's possible to FAX sub orders in to the Publix Deli?
  10. Buy it and sand his signature off - or just put a knife to it to further rid the area of any bad mojo!
  11. RATM - Bulls on Parade AC/DC - Hells Bells and/or Thunderstruck GnR - Welcome to the Jungle Lil Jon - Turn Down for What (something for the next gen fans)
  12. I was trying to sell this idea to my wife - use the same lot, enter East Club, up escalator, (eat?), down the steps around the North Endzone, then on to 210. We're close to the rail so it's not like we'll have to hike back up the steps. Thanks for the suggestions! the school does keep the money from the parking passes they sell. Good to know! I always wondered about that.. If all else ends up being equal I'd rather just give my $15 to USF anyway. Thx
  13. Since Day 1 (and by Day 1, I mean Kentucky Wesleyan in the Old Sombrero) my seats have always been on the East side of the stadium. For the past 17 years I've been parking in the same lots behind Channel 28. It was always a straight shot across Himes and into the East Club entrance. Easy In - Easy Out. This season we've migrated over to the West Side of the stadium (Sec 210) and I'm just wondering if any of the East Club folks have any parking tips. It doesn't look like there is anywhere to park that is directly across from the East Club entrance. HCC is over there, but it looks like there is a fence (and a ditch??) along Dale Mabry that keep you from entering anywhere other than from near Lots 5 and 3. Is that correct? Does HCC let folks park in that field / grass up near the fence? Or is the parking only in the paved lots of the campus? If I pick up a parking pass, it looks like I would only qualify for 3, 6, or 6D - but I've always avoided the stadium parking in the past because it was always so backed up - and seemed to be extremely slow to get into and out. Do the parking passes generate actual revenue for USF?? Or does that just go to the Glaziers? We typically arrive about 20 - 30 mins before kick-off and like I say, the lots behind 28 there's never any waiting.. just zip down Himes and pull in. Also we're coming from Pinellas, so we'll be coming in from and exiting South of the stadium. Any tips?
  14. UPS just dropped off our tickets! Definitely seems to be a "no-frills" approach this year though. lol There was ONE Bulls Club pin in the envelope (one pin - for 3 tickets), and my wife has already claimed it. She was pissed that she never got her "USF tsa/stadium approved purse bag thing" last year so I didn't bother fighting her on the pin.. Out of curiosity - did anyone get any other swag delivered with their tickets (besides the Eveld jersey)
  15. We picked up an Epson 5030UB about 6 months ago and have been EXTREMELY happy with it!! I've always had Panasonic projectors in the past and was kinda leery of the Epson brand, but so far it blows my old Panasonic away. I don't use it outdoors, but I do have it in a room that has 3 floor to ceiling windows on one side and a double sliding glass door on the other - aka a TON of light - and this projector is still plenty bright during the day. I also offset the room brightness with an Elite Screens CineGray ambient light rejecting screen (it really does make a difference).
  16. I just got that painful call that they make the student athletes do: Bull: "Hi this is ....... from the USF Women's soccer team, is this Mr. shibumi??" Me: (working.. thinking this is Alumni or another donation call) yes it is.. Bull: Oh.. OK.. Um.. well I was just calling to say thank you for your support as a Bull's Club donor and a season ticket holder.. Me: (waiting for the plug) ... ... .... ... Umm.. OK.. ?? Bull: Umm.. OK.. I'm sorry.. I don't know if I've reached you at a bad time or ?? Now I realize that it is THAT call - the awkward one where they are just calling to thank you - and I'm feeling like an ass for being so curt.. Me: Oh - sure.. yeah.. sorry.. I thought this was the alumni association or a call asking for another donation lel Bull: No No! Just calling to say thank you! So now I really feel bad that they are stuck making these calls.. Figure, hey - try to make some small talk - only I know nothing about Women's soccer - other than the recent World Cup win e_e Me: Oh well thank you! Good luck on your upcoming season!! Wait - when does your season start?? Bull: We start August 5th Realizing that my small talk is even worse than my curtness Me: Oh wow! Yeah - we'd like to get out to see more sports, but we're way on the other side of the bay, so football is about the only thing we really do (like she really cares - as I minimize her sport.. omg get me outta here).. Well Good luck, man (yeah.. i through a "man" in there) Bull: OK thanks Me: OK bye UGH!!!! To any student athletes that have to make these awkward calls you have my sincere condolences!! Hopefully you end up getting to leave a bunch of voicemails - or you reach people much more receptive than I typically am to random calls.. Oh well - Go Bulls!!!
  17. A couple of the "bonus" benefits that I'm hoping come out of the new seating / donation system: All of the club seats now have club access (for the most part). Previously club access was based on donation, so not everyone sitting in 237 (as an example) had access to the club. This meant that the tickets had to be printed with "Club Access" on them for those donors. The problem with this was that whenever I wanted to send tickets that I wasn't going to use to a friend (via Ticketmaster), those tickets NEVER had the "Club Access" printed on them. This meant that whoever used the tickets usually had to go through a hassle to get the Ticketmaster tickets stamped prior to the game.. They were often denied access at entrances. A small annoyance, but still not one that anyone should have to deal with going forward. If your seat is in 237, you have club access - not need to jump through hoops when forwarding tickets to a friend! Hopefully having more butts in the club access seats will also bring the VENDORS back to the club!! For the past.. I dunno.. 4+ years it's been empty up there. Typically only one half of the concessions were open and the food has been really subpar. I remember when we first got club access they were serving up fresh carved turkey breast dinners and prime rib! It was nice - it helped offset that sting of the much higher donation.. but lately?? There really hasn't been any club advantage. Hopefully having more fans up there will bring the little perks back! Cautiously optimistic
  18. Lack of commitment to winning.. Lack of effort by the players.. Lack of benefits in club access (another topic).. And horrible USF commercials during the games.. Soooooooo yeah - getting pretty close.
  19. Wait - what?? Mine doesn't appear to include parking. I see on the site it says we're entered for a shot to WIN free parking.. but that's all. It wouldn't unless you paid for reserved parking last season. You ca add it by checking the box. OK - yep, gotcha. I use one of the private / homeowner lots. Although - they keep raising their prices too! $15 / game last year. I may have to check into 'official' parking. $15 is what the 'official' parking costs and, just as an FYI, all that goes back to USF ... I'll have to investigate it then. I'm usually coming in from the south, down Himes - and the lines to turn into the stadium lots always look backed up (and far away). I've always been able to just zip right in and park behind Ch. 28, but if the prices are up again this year... I dunno.
