  1. You have to go through it. You don't have to go through it alone.
  2. You better run that one by the primary first. They get funny about part time help.
  3. I would love that but I doubt we could match the payola, er, NIL that Alabama can.
  4. Naw, I got it and laughed. We don't have to worry about that...yet.
  5. That's right, Cristobal, we're looking at you! Out the door in '24.
  6. Excellent, Dave. I'll keep up with it. I hope other Bulls down there check you out! One day we'll play together. I'm up to about eleven chords that I know how to play, including the oft-requested song from the Office, "That One Night"! Talk about classic rock!
  7. I'd hate to admit how many hours I've spent on those. As soon as the new one comes out, I'll be getting a system.
  8. I just read an article on how the generation coming in (gen alpha? I lose track) is significantly less into sports than any other preceding generation. If this is a trend, then our stadium capacity is prescient.
  9. We're talking Chucky Atkins here? Nice! I remember taking my son to see him back when I was a student there. This would be very good news.
  10. I was thinking the same thing, Bud. But I realized the word "yet" was left out!
  11. I'm waiting for Berryhill to have the season I think he can have.
  12. “Oh Yeah? Well, The Jerk Store Called. They’re Running Out Of YOU!”
  13. Maybe the fans can individually sue the starters (NIL recipients) who sat out. They could make the players sign a contract with a steep buy out for refusing to contribute to the team's performance. You want unregulated NIL? There you go.
  14. Right now, we don't offer a whole lot attractive to any P conference. They can afford to take their time being picky. We seem to be falling for the Fundamental Attribution Error. It essentially notes that "If my team gets promoted to P status, it is because they did it due to internal causes (they wanted it more, worked harder, are more talented, recruited better, etc.), but if my team does not get promoted, it is due to external causes (ESPN hates us, ____ University is blocking us, we don't have an OCS, prior President didn't prioritize it, etc.) Those with an internal locus of control will most times perform better because they focus on what they have power over. That means working hard enough, recruiting well, coaching better, and finally, winning. AAU status, OCS, our market, palm trees - are external variables and none of that is going to get us promoted. Only one thing will - winning. Yes, we started to possibly turn a corner. But if we want to be courted and not just hope against hope that a P teams leaves their conference and we can be the best nerd picked in gym class to replace them, one season isn't going to do it. It needs to be a trend. I cringe when posters rest their hopes on someone leaving and we being the least undesirable team to fill that spot. I believe we will earn it by winning to the extent that it would look ridiculous to be left out. Backing in doesn't engender a whole lot of pride in me. Right now, we offer potential. That puts us in a large group. I believe that Coach will make us desirable enough in time. But I don't think a conference is going to offer us millions and millions solely because they would like another team to have a "travel partner" or whatever that means.
  15. It wouldn't surprise me to see a FR lineman or DB. Someone good can step into those positions, even FR. However, seems like Coach is building for long term (the right way), so necessity will dictate whether he has the time to hold a good FR out.
  16. Wow. Didn't know there was a question about it. Well, have to trust Coach.
  17. Can't wait to walk into a stadium with you, ET. Although, you will have to slow down for me!
  18. I hope you all have a meaningful and peaceful holiday season. We represent a variety of beliefs but share a common passion. I am proud of my team, my fans, and those I've posted with for all these years. Enjoy!
