  1. Absolutely!  There is not another team I would like our guys to dismantle and embarass more than slutty miss.  In fact, let's bring them into the BE.  "Step into my parlor" <Evil laughter>.  I think it is good to play UCF every year -- the revenue alone could justify it and there is a lot of interest in the bay area since so many kids from here go to UCF just to get away from home (but not too far).  The rivalry thing with any team right now is just presumptuous.  We are so young it is like a nine year old chasing some twenty year old girl to marry her.  Cute, but not realistic.  Let's just focus on becoming a team that being defeated by repeatedly would engender the kinds of feelings that spur rivalry. UCF?  You gotta love pesky little brothers.
  2. Besides, this will be the baby's first spanking. It will just be another for UCF. ;D
  3. Shoot. Didn't realize that. Oh, well, gotta defer to this groundbreaking event. It's not like anything different is going to happen in Orlando than happened in Tampa anyway.
  4. Just realized something.  My daughter will be giving birth approximately on Sept. 16th in Wichita, KS.  The next saturday, the 23rd we play KS in Kansas!  I will still be there!  Sweet! A new grandpa at an away game! Look for the guy with the big cigar.
  5. After driving down there for the game, I swore I would never go back. It is a dump and not worth the drive down. I have six herniated discs and there were no seatbacks, got kicked twice in the back, kneed by a female hippopotamus jumping down the bleachers toward us, and it looked like I was walking through a third world country making the long trek to the stadium through the war zone. You can keep it. I am getting season tickets to the best stadium in Florida. I consider myself blessed that we get to play in RJ.
  6. Well, I am PSYCHED!! I received my e-mail today about next year's season tickets going on sale and I will be getting two for the first time. I promised myself that I would not get any tickets until I graduated from grad school. Years of sacrifice are paying off as I lick my chops until I have those babies in my hand. Now, I just have to figure a way to explain it to the Mrs... Abbadad Proud Alumni Assoc. Member since 1994
  7. No reason not to have an alumni association membership, a Bulls license plate, and at least one USF polo shirt for work. No reason at all. All of that can be had for about $100 over the course of one year. Eight dollars a month. No excuses. I understand someone not being able to afford a season ticket. Next year will be my first season ticket (2). But eight dollars a month is not too much for anyone. We p*ss that away on Cokes.
  8. I have worked in the state university system when I was the Testing Coordinator at HCC. With very few exceptions, they aspire to mediocrity and look forward to the day when they can attain that goal. The employees that I encountered should not be allowed to breed.
  9. WB, I agree with most of what you said, but we will get many of the "Old Alumni" if we win big games and make a national name for ourselves.  They will become bandwagoners.  No they won't donate at the 10000 dollar level, but they will buy season tickets.  They root for the big three because they want to be affiliated with winners, not because they attended the school.  When they see a reason to root for their alma mater, and not be ridiculed for it, they will. I get so embarrassed for people who dress Gator or Seminole and have the crap all over anything and I know that they attended a different college.  I feel sorry for someone so in need of validation that they can't root for their alma mater because they are afraid someone might not approve.
  10. Yes, and I appreciate your efforts. PM on the way!
  11. WVU, of course. And they just scored! It is our conference and someone needs to represent well.
  12. It was what the announcer said and got me thinking that he might not if he thinks Cantwell will get the nod. Like the "Ummm". Very classy Onomatopoeia.
  13. I wonder if we can get Cantwell to switch to USF. He is playing tough.
  14. I disagree. There was really no hope at that point. There was no reason, judging by the last hour of football, that we could put points up any other way. Going out with some points would have salvaged some self-respect as well as some modicum of respect from around the country. We came out with nothing. I would rather have had the points. :-/
  15. Julmiste = interceptions and Denson and Hill = fumbles We have the turnover thing down pat. Now we need to work on scoring.
  16. 1) The winner -- USF 2) The final score -- 20-17 3) Bulls total offensive yards -- 325 4) Bulls leading receiver -- A. Hall
  17. Thanks, Knight.  Although I am a Bulls fan all the way (undergrad degree here), I got my Master's at UCF in 2003 and cheer you guys on, of course except when we play you! I really enjoyed the game from Hawaii and thought you guys showed yourselves well.  See you in Orlando next year for what I believe will be a great game.  Lots of us coming over. ;D
  18. I agree.  I remember when we played UCF and everyone came on the board and bitched about how low class the fans were what with foul language, bullying, trashing, etc.  Now we have people that want us to act in a similar manner. The way you act toward an opponent is a reflection of the type of person that you are.  If you are the type to kick someone when they are down, that is how you will act toward opposing players or fans when they are down.  Just be honest with yourself.  If you find that admirable, so be it.  I don't share your values. The world is full of anal aperatures.  Encouraging others to be just another one is nothing special.  You might as well just transfer to a program that has professional buttholes.  You could learn better and quicker there the art of vicarious agression. A related topic -- I crack up when people on this board proudly proclaim that we will never be rivals with UCF and then take every opportunity to castigate and humiliate them all the while professing our superiority and looking forward to beating them everytime we play.  Duh -- isn't that what "rivals" means??
  19. Not to worry, I would say that this is his last season. I don't think it will be an issue as soon as the bowl game is over. I am already psyched over next year's season. I am not a big basketball fan, so I will be jonesing until the spring game. Let's just hope we get some good recruits. Looks good so far.
  20. Congrats, Z! Pass the Bar and you will be able to afford genuine Cohibas!
