  1. Weird about J.R. He had been out over a month and last weekend I saw he ran back three for 63 yards. Not great. Not bad either. Andre just got picked up by the Bronco's practice squad.
  2. Of course we can win this game. No turneovers and <4 penalties and we win. We are better this year than last. They are worse. We won last year. We win this year. USF 24 Loovill 17
  3. Why do you follow USF athletics (whichever USF sports that you follow)? Son's a student and my money goes there! As a fan, what's your source of enjoyment from USF athletics (what makes you happy)? Improvement from ALL teams! Do you take pleasure in dumping on USF athletics? I never dump on them! What's your ultimate dream for USF athletics (or whichever USF sport(s) that you like)? All teams making top ten!
  4. Bye Week Eats It had a good post with some video. Richardson looked good but who's that QB?
  5. Don't worry, the pros know who he is and will drafted before the end of the third round and starting on Sunday's next year. St. Louis may very well be in the same boat.
  6. Not happy about the Chiefs getting spanked. Happy Mitchell had a good game! The Chiefs need some work and it's not at middle linebacker.
  7. Anthony Henry: One int and led the team with eight tackles. All solo Kawika Mitchell: Ten tackles/seven solo J.R. Reed: May not have played. Someone else returned the kicks and he had no tackles. Hope he's not hurt again.
  8. T-Rob is redshirting this year. He'll be backkkkk!
  9. The only reason Tebow plays is because UF has no running backs. If they did they'd use them in running situations. Would they use a QB if they had Emmitt Smith, Erict Rhett, or Ernest Graham?
  10. Great to see Smazza optimistic. The best part of the Grothe era is how many top rate players will want to go for the ride with him. Even our most critical fans are enjoying this! We have a ways to go but the future looks bright!
  11. We're getting better, deeper, and healthier. NC: W Cincy: W Pitt: W (Why not? We should have beaten Rutgers with or without Amp.) Cuse: W Louisville: Possible (We beat 'em last year.) WV: Very tough (They are one of the nation's top three.)
  12. Pat has a younger brother who is supposed to be outstanding and considering USF. Booing his big brother isn't going to help our recruiting or others for that matter. Pat has been all class and effort as a Bull and deserves respect from all of us.
  13. As I was scanning through the site I noticed a quote was attributed to my username, BullGator. Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm a big supporter of CJL and actully liked Smith's play calling against Rutgers. My username is BullGator because I'm a UF grad but my son is a student at USF. Once my son began attending USF I switched my allegience and support the Bulls as much as I can. I travel across the state for most of the football games and some of the basketball games. I haven't been to a UF game in four years and have no plans to do so in the future. Go Bulls!
  14. Hype it is. The coach is all over the airwaves pushing his team that like us, has beaten no one of significance. He's also pushing his RB as if he were some sort of star. He's no where near Andre's ability and look where Andre is now (although I believe Andre will be on an NFL roster within a year). JL could easily be pushing Matt as the best freshman QB in the country (which he is) but doesn't want it going to his head. Rutgers is smoke and mirrors. We will win by 14 tomorrow night.
  15. Who knows when Ponton will be back? Our present RBs will probably break out but why not give Pat a shot at RB? He's a proven runner, a team player, and by having him in the backfield, a whole set of options become available. I just think he's too good a talent and just being ready in case Matt goes down is not making the best use of his wide variety of skills. Just a thought.
  16. How about the Nex Rex. Even thought Grossman is a Gator, Matt reminds me a lot of him and Matt is further along than he was at this stage. I'm exicted about what Matt has done already and where he is going to go. He'll also be a big recruiting plus as great players will want to be on the same side as him. We've got a great mix of young and old receivers so more studs will want to come here to get their turn being on the receiving end of his passes. Running backs will want to be part of this offense and linemen will too.
  17. Rutgers is getting votes because their coach is out getting PR (Rome show, etc.). Now that most teams will begin conference play the rankings will become more accurate. If we continue to improve we should beat Kansas who just lost to Toledo and barely beat La-Monroe. Rutgers is very beatable, particularly at Ray Jay. Grothe and our D is getting noticed around the country. With that, we'll start getting the respect we deserve.
  18. A little bright side stuff. We shut them out in the second half. Taurus Johnson. Ean Randolph. Best linebacker corp in the country. The team and coaches didn't give up. UCF will still be reeling from UF's trouncing. Chambers, Josh Julmiste, and Ricky Ponton will be back (soon I hope). We will improve each game. I'm still predicting 7-4 this year. Go Bulls!!!
  19. No dropped passes and MG looked as good or better than any Freshman QB I've ever seen. I was there. When we ran out of feet to shoot we looked **** good... check the stats. Plus, McNeese State was not that bad. Very fast.
  20. I'm a UF alum but when they "rejected" my son I ditched the orange and blue and support the Bulls big time. USF turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to my son. Some of his friends go to academically over rated UF and they are clearly not getting a better education or college experience. Of all the college games I've attended in my life, by far the most exciting game I ever attended was last years romp over Louisville. Go Bulls!!
  21. Well then, what's the best way to get our messages to him? After his first game as a Bull I told my son this guy's going to play in the NFL. I feel that way, now more than ever.
