  1. This is all about family. Not that JL had a choice but you know his sentiments are genuine. We are fortunate to have a coach the caliber of Wally Burnham. Wally, we're all with you.
  2. I wrote Jeb and this is what he said. Okay, so it wasn't Jeb but Hugenin did respond. Here is what he said. Thanks for writing. We had a story on page 3 this morning on matt grothe. There will be an advance in Saturday's paper. And we are covering the game. Again, thanks for writing. And enjoy the bowl. -----Original Message----- From: Les Forster [mailto:lforster@cfl.rr.com] Sent: Thursday, December 21, 2006 5:04 PM To: Greene, Jerry; Huguenin, Mike; Bianchi, Mike; Hoppes, Lynn; Mckenzie, Van; Ruiz, Steve; Speros, Bill Subject: USF Bowl Game USF the state's second best football team. You've got a lot of Bulls fans in Orlando. How about a little ink? Go Bulls!!!
  3. This is a solid team. Look at how many games were in last year. We lost an NBA player but we may have three future NBA players on the team now.
  4. We have at least four scorers. That's the most we've had in a long time. We have more depth than we've had in a long time. We have experience combined with some very good young players. This team is good and will get better as the season moves on. Mac has done a very good job putting this team together.
  5. Hate to agree but BHam's idead of a bowl game is Bama vs Auburn.
  6. Here's the confirmation on Miss Elizabeth. 08/01/03 Internet News Friday, August 1, 2003 3:53 AM EDT By Michelle Graff - Marietta Daily Journal Staff Writer MARIETTA - A fatal of mix of pills and alcohol caused the untimely and accidental April death of the wrestling icon “Miss Elizabeth,†according to the final autopsy results released Thursday. At the time of her death, 42-year-old Elizabeth Hulette had a blood alcohol level of 0.29 and a mix of painkillers, nausea medication and tranquilizers in her system, said Mark Bishop, operations manager of the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office. In Georgia, drivers operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or above are considered impaired. Bishop said Ms. Hulette’s death has been ruled accidental, due to “acute toxicity,†or an overdose. He said there is nothing to indicate suicide or foul play. Here's a link to more of the story. http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2003/05/01/77209.html RIP
  7. Got mine today via express. Took about four days.
  8. Two questions. Where's Miss Elizabeth? How come they're all flashing the Go Bulls! sign backwards?
  9. Sounds like the consensus so far is Five Points. We'll have to look for the biggest party!
  10. Not too late for RMC. I'm impressed with what I've seen and it will only get better now that we have our full roster. We'll win quite a few Big East games. That's improvement and it will lead to even better recruiting.
  11. I don't like counting my chickens before they hatch but after we win where's everybody going to go to celebrate right after the game and later that evening?
  12. They're getting a bunch of votes. A win will get them into the top 25! They deserve it!
  13. It's about speed and determination for his position. Ean has both. He doesn't fumble, has great moves, and knows what it's like to get to the end zone. Sixth round. Special teams.
  14. Why not a top five? He has it all and this very good team will be great by the time he is a senior. Put him on Heisman watch now.
  15. I expect big things within two years if not sooner. We weren't that far off before Prado took over. Although the games still must be played we will compete next year.
  16. Let Hill go to UM. He almost went there before committing to USF. JL gave him more than a fair chance with us. UM and Hill are meant for each other!
  17. Thought I'd see more replies. Leavitt is a gift. Fortunately he feels gifted to be where he is (and he should). JL will be another Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno. USF is JL's home, thank goodness!
  18. How about the Big Two? We are clearly the second best college team in the state. 1. UF (11-1) 2. USF (8-4) 3. FSU (6-6) 4. UM (6-6)
  19. Whew!!! Let's take the 4-0 and forget this one.
  20. Wrong. We could have been 10-2. Great season all the same.
  21. None of the polls gave us a vote. All but USA Today kept WVU at #7. I don't get it. It doesn't matter. The nation saw how good we are. A bowl win gets us votes. Bottom line. Great season and great recruits on the way.
  22. Clearly the best season. Best competition and beating #7 WV on national TV makes it even sweeter. The best is yet to come!
