Terrible, this defense sucks

This 2nd wave of additions is why I wish we had stayed small with our additions. Navy, Temple & Houston to stay at 8 maybe. All of these other teams we've added just put more schools on our level to compete for ACC spots. If somehow UCF gets picked ahead of us, we might as well shut it down

^^^ Assuming this monstrosity holds together, there is no way it'll be anything other than an east/west split. Travel issues on each side are far too large any other way. Some eastern school, Navy, UCF, Temple will be in the west but otherwise its a geographic split. BE is an absolute disaster. I'd do anything to get a life line into the ACC or B12.

I know we're low on the totem poll, but we should be whoring ourselves out in every way, making any concessions necessary, to get a slot in the ACC or B12. B12 is surely off the table, as it appears they'll get their next wave of teams from the ACC, but it would be a complete disaster if the ACC lost 4, and replaced those 4 with Rutgers, UConn, Cincy & Louisville. We would be the lone BCS school left behind in a jumbled mess. Niether USF nor Cincy deserve such fate, I hope things break in a way that we can move up. B1G opening up expansion again would help us quite a bit, as they'll take their members from the ACC or Rutgers/UConn.

Man I hope Woolard is pulling the right strings with the ACC right now. There is enough smoke to suggest that FSU is probably going to the B12. If they do, we need to be begging Miami and the ACC to admit us. I don't care what the conferences look like at the end of all of this, but being in the ACC is a massive upgrade over the BE. We need to separate from UCF, they cannot catch us. Please, get this done guys.

High school kids make dumb decisions. He got his feelings hurt when Louisville recruited and signed a much better prospect in Bridgewater, so he ran off with his tail between his legs.

I am baffled by how much attention hes getting on here. Why is a 3 star (or 2 star on espn) QB who is going to have to move to defense when he gets here getting so much attention? Who really cares? If he comes here good, if not oh well.

Anyone saying hes a bad fit here are rediculous. Do you guys want to win games? There is absolutely nothing negative to be said about getting the #3 QB in the country to commit here. This would be the biggest recruit we've ever had. Make it happen Holtz.

Bridgewater would start at QB as a true freshman here.

Any chance we get this guy? We really need a qb. Youd think it would be easier to recruit one after seeing what grothe was able to do here and what little competition he'd have.

They cling to this stuff becasue they are so bad at athletics, so they need something to brag about. You dont understand. Those scores are all weighted. When you apply to a prestigious legendary world renowned academic powerhouse like ucf, they weight your scores in comparison to the rest of their elite students. Its kinda like grading on a curve. I would like to see a correlation between winning and recruiting class out of the top 10, but inside the top 25. I bet there is none. Classes that fall between 16-60 = the same. Until I see proof to the contrary, that's the way it shakes, sorry. Bring in a top 15 class and then you can abstain from dillusions brought on by the :KoolAid Sincerely 3 and 1 non BCS schools. LOL. You could just as easily go look at rivals or scouts top 25 recruiting classes from years ago and see how they perform. Why dont you post that on a general recruiting forum and see how well it goes over. One thing i will point out, is how even with your line drawn as 16-60 all being "the same" UCF is still below us, with your class being ranked in the mid 60s on both sites. ... Maybe soon you will break that top 60 barrier. Or since you are full of **** anyway, why not just come back by saying 60-80 is really the same as well.

UCF has pulled away plenty from USF this year in recruiting head to head. The occassional 2 year Juco only means bandaids and breathmints as far as plugging holes on a team. Ask our former coach. We used to get all these 4 star guys, go look at our 2002 class. All that gets you is a chocolate yoo hoo and the St. Pete bowl. Wait, your arguement is that you are recruiting better than us, because its bad to get 4 star recruits? 2 star recruits that turn out great are exceptions not rules. Its as stupid as the argument that 40 time doesnt matter in the nfl because sometimes slow players turn out good

i think he just wanted to play 4 years of irrelevant basketball he would have done the same at usf I was talking about the conference. Even when our team is irrelevant we still regularly will play relevant teams in relevant games. Outside of games vs memphis nothing ucf does has a chance of mattering.

im a student as of fall last year, started posting here before i was a student though, i was at SPC at the time, been a bulls fan since blackwell, not the full 10 years because i wasnt really into football back then, but early in blackwells time here i became a fan

well i signed up once, theres no way in hell i'd buy it though, ive never even heard of this magazine
