  1. in the first round of NIT action. WMU over Marquette; i'm surprised noone has posted anything about this considering that the RMC's old WMU team went dancing last year and is making a splash in the NIT this year. http://sports-att.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=250730269
  2. I've been supporting our basketbulls all season long because I could see the scrappiness and tenacity that these kids play with. We're just a few players short of having the kind of team that RMC can do some scary things with in the Big East. Start jumping on the ship now, cause we're sailing off!!
  3. Amen to that! To those on the CRMc stinks bandwagon, stop your whining, go to the games, support financially, and support USF (don't tear it down). We will get there.
  4. How about something in the price range of a recent law school graduate who has some loans to pay off? What sections, which are available to someone in my price range, give me the best run for my money?
  5. If I buy season tix this year, what section gives me the best bang for the buck? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  6. When I asked CJL about what his plans are for the offense next year during the Signing Day Mixer, he seemed really high on Denson. Talent-wise, Denson may be a lot better than Marquell. With a quarterback that we can trust in the pocket(or scrambling), a stud running back in Hill, a great recieving core, and a good offensive line, Leavitt alluded to bringing the offense back to the level, if not better, than when Quell was at the helm. However, I'm not sure how the TE's fit in, unless they are pass-catching TE's.
  7. So if we can snag RJF and a few other surprises, then I'm sure we can pass Tha Ville for the best recruiting class in the NBE, right?
  8. waiting to sign besides Jean-Francois? And is Carlton Hill the most highly touted recruit to ever be signed to USF football?? I'm so **** pumped!
  9. Yea, what's up with that billboard? I had no clue Rutgers recruited that heavily out of tampa to warrant placing a billboard on I-4. I hope he has fun in the snow and medical waste infested waters of Jersey!
  10. If there is one word I can use to describe our USF Men's Basketball Team it would be "scrappy." The players are coming together to play some great team ball. That has been the one great constant with this team so far this season. I look forward to seeing some conference upsets in the near future. Have faith in coach RMc
  11. Isn't it cheaper if you are a member of the alumni association?
  12. I like the direction you are going with the whole Pamplona concept. When I went to the "running of the bulls," everyone dressed in red and white since it's part of tradition. Go Toros (Bulls)!
  13. I've finally got my voice back. All the yelling i did during the basketball game plus all the partying for my b-day took its toll on the ol' vocal chords. Now I'm just counting down the days to being back in Florida.
  14. and I have a few observations. Terrance Leather had an amazing game. Our team played great team defense against a very atheltic Michigan team. Brian Swift had a very good day running the point for the Bulls.   On a side note, I got to meet many of James Holmes' family members. They were all really cool and happy to see him back in Michigan. I swear they must have brought everyone from Ypsilanti to the game! Brian Swift and Solomon Jones were some of the most down-to-earth people I have met from any USF athletic team. They were really happy to see that there were USF fans in Michigan.   And my last observation is that UM fans weren't very loud. I out cheered everyone in my section; Holmes' younger brother, who was sitting behind the USF bench, heard me from my section and came up to say "hi." Although I hate losing, and this game was very winnable, I couldn't be more proud to be a Bull in Michigan. Well, I'll be relocating back to Tampa on Dec. 18th, so I hope to see a lot of you at the Dome. Paisa
  15. Remember that Michigan won the NIT last year. Amaker has recruited some really athletic players. The Wolverines may not have much height, but some of their players have some really monsterous wingspans. I'll be at the game on Dec. 11th at the Crisler Arena. Look out for me on Television, since I may be the only USF fan there. There's nothing I'd rather have on my b-day than to see the Bulls upset the Wolverines. Paisa
  16. I have to give props to the O-line. They gave PJ all day to throw the long ball and opened some holes for Hall to rack up 275 rushing yards. It was great watching the Bulls dominate on national television from a sports bar in Michigan. P.S. people here still think Daunte Culpepper graduated from USF! P.S.S. So did we get "destroyed" by UAB, lotsofbull?? : Lets go Bowling Bulls
  17. I'll be at the USF v. UMich game on December 11th. Nothing would be better than watching the Bulls take down the Wolverines on my Birthday. Go Bulls!
  18. great article. i think it definitely mirrors my experiences with friends here in Michigan. Still backing the Bulls from Michigan Paisa
  19. ****, looks like L'ville plucked a 6'8" 210 lb. small forward from our neck of the woods (Bradenton). L'ville is looking like they have a top notch group of commits so far. USF really needs to land a big man.
  20. I graduated from USF in 2001. Currently, I'm in my last semester of law school. Hopefully my Tampa externship next semester will leave me some time to catch some USF b-ball games. Maybe I'll see some of ya there.
  21. Amen! I think Basketbull's post has HOF written all over it. If it wasn't for this board, i don't know how else i would get my USF fix all the way up here in Michigan. I can't wait to relocate to Tampa in December.
  22. Wow, talk about pessamistic. I thought we had a great chance of winning up until PJ threw the last INT. I consider myself a realistic Bulls fan, but I don't go into a game thinking we never have a chance of winning. Stick with the team; we're building tradition!
