    It's becoming clear now that the only way USF gets into the Big 12 is if they expand by four teams. Additionally, it will have to be both USF and UCF to make it work for the non revenue generating sports, they could travel to Florida and play both schools to make it work financially. Houston and Cincinnati are the heavy favorites.

    Also need some luck, no significant injuries, a few bounces going the Bull's way, and a few teams ahead of the Bull's having a "down" year.

    The uniforms are for the players and not the fans, the older generation I'm sure would prefer a more muted design with one strip on the pants and numbers on the helmets. The players like the variety and style of the uniforms, as a fan I don't care, just win. Although this being the 20th anniversary of Bulls football it would be nice to see a retro inspired uniform.

    820's range is awful, you lose the static filled signal just east of McIntosh on I-4.

    I concur with Bulls1181's assessment. I'm very concerned with special teams and the Bull's pass coverage defense. Those two areas will be exploited by good teams, lots to improve upon looking beyond this game. Bulls were clearly more athletic than Towson.

    The B12 already knows which schools they are going to add. The decision on which schools is based on who can help bolster the league's ability to start the B12 Network. UConn provides a NE presence, while USF/UCF provides a Florida/South presence, and Cinci helps with the Midwest.

    I was one of the few at this game and the team is still learning the system, often guys were not cutting down on the weak side or in the case of the big 6-11 kid he stopped twice on baseline cuts and both passes from cousins went out of bounds because of it. The team also has problems on defensive rotations, Jacksonvile missed a number of shots in the lane. Hopefully, this team can find its way soon to salvage a decent season.

    I prefer not to drink the Kool Aid and will wait to see how the season plays out before bestowing that the Bulls are for real.

    They will have play extremely disciplined next week against Navy.

    BOP your correct, tackling remains an issue, too many arm tackels and often guys are not wrapping up the ball carrier, definitely needs to be cleaned up.

    Firing CWT now would be the worse thing USF could do, better off riding out the season.

    Kid was exposed tonight, plays hard, but too often plays out of position. Tough night.

    Just when I thought USF football had made strides toward a positive direction, they revert to the same team we have endured the last few years, turnovers, penalties, and inconsistent play at numerous positions. I was fooled again!

    I agree that this team has potential to do some big things in the AAC, however, Flowers has to become more consistent, defense has to remain gap disciplined, and the secondary has to clean up a few errors, all can be corrected with film study and reps. Things are looking up!

    Conference Championship! As others have posted, it means sustained season long success and would signify that the program has turned around.

    Freshman QB, first start on the road, making the offense more one dimensional with a run first QB could spell disaster. I hope the kid can throw.

    Rebuilding is similar to farming in regards to planting, Year 1 Sleep, the roots are growing, Year 2 Creep, roots are still growing and the plant emerges upward, Year 3 Leap, the plant takes off. As a football program we will know alot about the program after next season and if we need a new farmer.
