    Box score says 6,182. The first two levels hold 7,000 so I guess that sounds about right.

    I am not an expert on BBall at all, but... Again, we had at least 7 open, simple, uncontested layups/dunks that did not go in. As I have said before, Marlyn is a totaly different player on offense since he missed the open dunk against UAB. It just looks to me like he has totally lost his confidence when he has the ball. What happened to the FT shooters that were there at the beginning of the season? Prek is being tentative with his shots. There were a couple times when he got a great pass, was wide open and chose to dribble into the defender instead of taking the open shot. Leather's head not in the game at all when he was on the floor.

    Crowd and students looked great on TV. One question - why were the shirts handed out late? ESPN had numerous shots of people putting on the green t-shirts when they came back from the first time out - looked kind of strange.

    Bigbull, as Pres. do you write a response to totally wipe out the negative this guy is spewing and ask other students to join you and find out on their own what the atmosphere can be on Thursday night? OR do you ignore him and hope he hasn't done too much damage to SBC. What do you think the average student reading the oracle will take away from this article? Given our attendance, I am not so sure that most have never witnessed college sports and this will now skew their view or opinions that it is a bad/not fun event.

    Getting realistic and to please everyone involved (academics, tradition, location, tv draw/market, availability, etc.), I think Army or Navy are the real football-only possibilities in the next few years.

    And Cincinnati has beaten who? Deserving of a BE invite had a lot more to do with it than just having beaten a "big time" team. UL's down year is coming. Fortunately, ours has passed.

    Unless, they enforce the 5 1A home game rule, I don't see why the Sun Belt and lower WAC/MAC schools are not our home game pay days with no return. Those schools will fill their gaps with 1AAs unless they have to have 5 1A home games, then we are screwed and would fall under hailpitt's scenario of it being extrememly difficult to NOT schedule a 1AA.
