    How did we not get 1 vote from the 4 BE coaches that vote, including Petrino? You think he would have at least voted for us so the beatdown looks like it came from a team getting votes.

    Storming the field for Cincinnati because we are bowl eligible (and not having a bid in hand) would just be silly. Last night was the emotional, once a season, unplanned storming that should have happened and would have been a great moment to savor for this program. Once we start discussing it and it is pre-meditated, it looses all its value.

    The disparity between the AP and the Coaches on this is amazing. Unfortunately the coaches feed into the BCS and the AP doesn't matter anymore. When does the first new Harmon poll come out that now feeds the BCS.

    I am totally on the students side in this, but for this year it is over. I would contact the Pres. and Mr. Wollard to propose they meet with TSA about this for next year. Storming the field for WVU, or worse yet, Cincinnati should not be an issue.

    Unfortunately, the Lightning do not have a game on 10/22 so I guess PP will be back.

    Thanks, Brandon. I thought the top 10 and top 30 record was at the time the game was played. So if UL gets back in the top 30, we get a little jump start.

    We moved from #85 to #39. UL dropped from #10 to #35. He has an error with us 0-0 against top 10 and 0-1 against top 30 so when that is fixed, we could move up. His line would be Miami -22.

    I must say the UL fans were very gracious and friendly. Tailgated next to a group of their students who were asking lots of questions and talking to us the whole time without doing beer shooters and screaming at my kids. After the game, many older UL fans were congratulating the Bulls. What a change a week makes!

    Wasn't it nice to not have Paul Porter screaming at us the entire game? I like the Bucs announcer much better.

    Don't worry - the bandwagon jumping will begin. Remember, last night there were 19,000 casual Tampa Bay sports fans at the Forum. 5 years ago, the Lightning couldn't draw 5,000 to a pre-season game. I also have to believe some of the 19,000 would have come out to see the #9 ranked college team. Just takes time.

    That's funny. Did you see the guys on the field that were on their knees doing the "not worthy" bow at 2 Bulls players? They were right in front of 2 blue shirted rental ladies that looked at them then at each other with a look that said "girl, i'm not jumping on those big guys, this job's not worth breaking a nail".

    And the rust bowl is owned and managed by the City of Orlando - a taxpayer supported stadium. Hmmmmm.........

    I posted this on the other thread: Guys, I wouldn't email TSA because they'll just let it go. Email Pres JG and Wollard about how obscene this is. Make them fight this battle with the TSA. They are trying to build this into a top level 1A program and they need to go to battle with their landlord - this is totally rediculous.

    You cannot forward a fumble so they would have put the ball at the 1/2 yard line and with our first team in, we would have scored anyhow.

    This is total BS. Instead of cheering the team after the clocked ticked zero, the rest of the stadium was booing the TSA/cops/rental whatevers for this stupid display of force.

    I don't get this. What the hell is gonna happen? The students just want to celebrate with the team. They're not gonna tear up the precious grass or even go after the goal posts. TSA should just protect their property (goal posts, signs, etc.) and let them have a good time.
