    I've said this before, but venues like the forum suck for college ball.  Just ask Memphis.  You are so far removed from the game, like Chi says, there is no home court advantage.  The Dome is a great college ball venue - just fix the **** scoreboards.

    With a 12 game schedule looming, I think it make sense for both schools to play every year at least for the next 4-6 years.

    It's Official - you can now buy single tickets in the 3rd level! Just went on Ticketmaster and was offered section 335, Row M. Looks like we are half way up the visitor side 3rd level.

    Anyone watching this game? There can't be 5,000 people at Dolphins stadium. They should have had the game at Lockhart - it sure would look better.

    Who is taking bets on a 1AA game? Harmon has it 27-7 and Sagarin has the Bulls by 40.

    For Bucs games, HCC opens 4 hours before game time and costs $20. Not sure who controls it nor what they do for Bulls games.

    We have been told in the past that it costs USF $5,000 and can only be done on a weekend when the Bucs are not home.

    since we are talking so much about the band, duemig, attendance, etc. I assume we are not spending the dough to paint the endzones for FAMU since it is not on TV. UCF is the night before a Bucs game so you know the endzones will be all Bucs for that one. I guess we might see Bulls in the endzone for UL if the game is televised somewhere on earth. What do you guys think? Let eer rip on the TSA, Glazers, marketing, etc.!

    Adding 45 more people will at least look better on the field. I always thought they looked a little sparse. Jeez, why are we so concerned about the band? Now I'm getting caught up in this discussion.

    Later in the show, he said FSU is in real trouble this year (QB situation) and the Canes are going to do just fine.

    I don't understand this figure. Haven't we sold about 17,000 season tickets? That means only 3,000 single tickets have been sold in advance? I wonder if the 20,000 figure is an error - maybe it is really 30,000 which would make more sense with 10,000 students/free tickets and 10,000 walk up this week.

    Both FAMU and USF Alumni Assn are having their "official" tailgates at Al Lopez - not sure how that happened.  They are using picnic shelters instead of hoisting the big tent in lot 6 for USF and using the big tent at HCC for the visitors.

    I think we were 92nd last week/pre-season so our performance at PSU did have a positive impact.

    Visitors are usually in 132, 131 and 128. They will spill over to the end zone and the second level behind these sections.

    We'll see where we are when Sagarin comes out tomorrow which a lot of the early lines are based on. Given his pre-season numbers, USF would be favored by 12. I'm not sure either of our performances will change that a great deal (even though the first couple weeks are based a lot on last year's performance).

    Sagarin would have it as 27 points per his pre-season ratings which I believe is where a lot of bookmakers start with the first couple games.
