    33,500 announced, 28,000 butts in seats. LOTS of people around me said they are going to HS games and we'll get the usual 2-3,000 no show donors/corporations.

    Unfortunately the reason that they can be in the SW corner of the field for interviews is because there will be ZERO recruits there on a Friday night - bummer.

    OK, he's a teddy bear, spits a lot, drives a common man car, supports Florida schools, etc. etc., but he was still just a horrible announcer in his first game in the booth.

    My space went from $60 to $85 this year, and I believe that increase went to the Bulls. You always pay $25 extra as a donation to USF for the parking passes. Last year 5 games x $7 = $35 (to the Glasers) + $25 = $60 This year 6 games x $10 = $60 (to the Glasers) + $25 = $85

    On one of their message boards they say they have sold out of their allocation in sections 131 and 132, and RU fans are buying tickets this week from USF at a rapid pace.

    Last year they turned around RayJay in less than 24 hours for the Bucs - Outback Bowl. It just takes dinero and knowing where you are at on the Glazer totem pole in game importance/revenue production.

    I felt embarassed for Lou Holtz tonight as an announcer. He added nothing to the commentary and was captain obvious most of the way. I sure hope he doesn't stick around Florida and do our game on Friday night.

    I don't care who you are - as a reporter even writing an editorial-type column, you don't dis the subject by calling him a nickname of your choosing. Calling CJL "Jimbo" tells me he's a moron. The paper should reel this guy in.

    Just got home - so proud to be a Bull! Very large, very loud contingent. HOT was awesome, students were awesome and of course I LOVE the second coming of Marquell Blackwell - it's very scary the similarities with the play calling, scrambling, smooth passing, whatever - I am now psyched for the next 4 years.
