  1. Congrats to JD - she is the covergirl on ESPN's WBB page. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/womenbb/index
  2. I went there Saturday before the game and was pleasantly surprised at all the Bulls decor and the food was very, very good. Both owners came up to the table to chat and ask for comments - nice guys, except 1 of them had on a Penn State shirt. I told him thanks for opening the place and supporting USF, but he has to wear a different shirt to work.
  3. I was sitting behind them for the first few minutes of the game and thinking the exact same thing. Very poor taste (actually disgusting) to put 7 to 10 year olds in those sleazy outfits. I saw some of the moms talking to their kids and they looked like typical suburban soccer moms. I wanted to say what the hell are you thinking, but bit my tongue. It really disturbed me enough to move to another section.
  4. Crowd was decent, students were great and the scoreboards are very cool - finally live stats! Unfortunately, we could not buy a basket on the few open shots we had. (BTW, one of the Centerplate concessions staff was wearing a Penn State jacket.  Please buy them USF gear to wear if they are cold.)
  5. Great effort once again by all.  CC looks very tired and a bit lost every time down the floor.  If he could get a few less turnovers and be good for 8-10 points, these last 2 games might have had a different outcome.
  6. using split screen pip to watch both games.
  7. Surprised UL has 2 games to still schedule.
  8. Bottom 4 are left out. They determined if they tried to play 8 games on the first day, they would need 20 hours - first game would be at 6am and the last game would end at 2am the next day! If they spread the first games out over 2 days, that would give some teams a rest day before playing again and that would not be fair.
  9. The old WV coach announcer on tv said the scoreboards rival any he has seen including madison square garden.
  10. can the one guy stop saying The University of South Florida every time he refers to the team? Don't know why but it's getting on my nerves. Just say South Florida or USF.
  11. Sagarin agrees with you in his final conference ratings. Note he has the Sun Belt below a 1AA conference. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbc05.htm
  12. When she said that, a NCS fan next to me said "I hope she means transfer in and not out". I laughed politely.
  13. Eric, are all 4 going to have video or only 2 corners? They looked very impressive without being turned on at the BCC game.
  14. WVU 28-13 - HOLD ON, WRONG SPORT! BULLS Win! (How can you guys choose another team for this contest?) 4 Holmes 21 Jones 10 80%
  15. Jeez, EI you took some awsome pcitures. You a pro photog or something? Yes, I too will remember Andre in this fashion. It was a great moment.
  16. No way - you go for the win. You have to be thinking touchdown, onside kick and touchdown no matter how much time is on the clock. Screw historical stats for the record books.
  17. HOT and the students in their section represented way above expectations - watching that section was probably the highlight of the game.
  18. That was great - much better than the NCS film. It looks even better on the wider screen at RJS.
  19. Was anyone else disappointed in the non-existence of a pre-game show?  There was absolutely zero pre-game on the field except for the presentation of a charity check and the national anthem sung by a local fire fighter.  We did not hear a voice on the PA system until 10 minutes to 11:00.  I've been to other bowls and there is usually some local kids or bands plus some delivering of the ball and team flags, etc.  Jeez, if the City or the Bowl did not want to spend the dough for a pre-game show, they could have at least invited the 2 bands to do an old half time show before the game.
  20. Could you imagine this team against Georgia if they would have snuck in?  NC State was pathetic and yet again we found a way stink it up after the first quarter. The best part about being there today was the USF fans.  Don't get down about our presence because some WV fan watched on TV and said there were only 1000 of us there.  There were at least 5,000 and very, very into the game and LOUD.  (BTW, the cameras were on the USF side so during plays I imagine Bulls fans were never on TV).
