    I thought I heard that starting with this bowl season, the BCS will only pay Notre Dame the amount a team in a conference that splits equaly would get.

    It doesn't matter if we are in the Sugar Bowl or not for the money. I think if a BE team is in the Sugar Bowl, all 8 teams split the amount equally with the team participating getting an additional amount to cover travel expenses.

    All this talk is making me very nervous about this weekend. ESPN prime time, painting the field, breaking 50,000 attendance, etc. I think we are getting way ahead of ourselves. Let's focus on UConn for now.

    BBB, I think it's more like 5,000 that were sold. 16,000 season + 6,000 students/jr. bulls/recruits/comps = 22,000. Of those 5,000 sold, I know many were the faculty/staff and military personnel promotion. But I must say that I think 5,000 is pretty good for the time and opponent.

    Gurly, kind of stinks they moved you guys back 2 rows to make room for the new press row. The ironic thing about it is that the front row of that section on the other side where the press used to be was completely empty from end to end. Best seats in the house and no one was in them.

    Okay, here's what I'm getting at. Are you saying that Disney/ABC/ESPN is the FINAL decision maker as having TV rights to the game? I'm not trying to be an ass, I am just trying to understand specifically who is the final decision maker. Does the BE or USF have ANY say in this or does TV tell the league and USF when game time will be? Wasn't there some talk about TV and the BE handing the final decision over to USF because of the postponement and our desire to play the game on that Monday or Tuesday which was overruled?

    Does anyone know OFFICIALY who makes the decision and when it will be made? Who is "They" as in I hope they wait until after UConn, I hope they decide for a late game, I think they should take the TV money, etc.? (Again, I did not intend to start this thread again about when we would like it to be or what criteria might affect the decision.)
