Per Sagarin, USF should be -6.5 at UNC. I think the line will open much higher than that. I would guess it will open at Bulls -10. You gamers have any thoughts?

Are they definitely back next week? I know they COULD return next week per the policiy, but USF has been pretty quiet on any announcement.

Lots of missed tackles tonight on both special teams and the D. We REALLY bent, but fortunately did not break.

There was no energy anywhere. When we scored to go up 21-9 it was eerily quiet - the usual high fives around me were non existent and people stayed glued to their seats. Very strange - can't put my finger on it - last Friday was SO different.

I think we have a real problem with the stadium being so far from campus. Gameday could be taking a risk that no one shows up at RayJay at 9:30am if it is a night game. Maybe it would be smarter to do it in front of the athletic facility.

It would make sense to me to work with the BE and the bowls that invited BE teams to rearrange our partcipation. For example, If we get invited to Toronto and fear no one would be there, do we try to swap places with UConn or Syracuse if they are invited elsewhere? BTW, who would have thought 5 years ago, we would be discussing the option of DECLINING a bowl bid? This is kind of crazy talk.

Guys, there are 32 bowl games this year. That means that 64 of 119 teams will be playing in bowls. The bowl sponsors will be lucky if there are 64 teams that end up 6-6 or better. I thought this was discussed on here before that the BE will not allow it's teams to decline an invitation to any bowl. Therefore, if we are 6-6, we are definitely going to a bowl by our choice or not.

We have 20,000 male students and a decent soccer team. Why have we not already posted for walk-on tryouts Monday?

I really believe last night was a major turning point for this program in terms of students and fan participation. It really struck me when looking at the student sections and they were totally in unison with each other and the band - appeared to be very organized like I've seen at major program's games. Also, as others have said the rest of the stadium was really into it and loud. For the first time it seemed like more than half the fans stood when the band came out before the game and did #8 and fight song clapping s-o-u-t-h..... without needing to be prompted by the announcer. Along with what everyone else is saying about the fans and students today, it just all seemed to gel last night as if we have been doing this for 50 years. I was really proud to be a Bull at RayJay last night.
