    First off, I am not a darksider or in the fire CRM camp or whatever, but..... I noticed tonight that CRM gets zero respect from the refs.  Like most coaches, when he feels strongly about a bad call or a no call, he will yell at the ref to come over and chat.  Every time this happened tonight, the refs just ran by him shaking their heads as if to say "we don't owe you the time of day".  Every time Wainwright would do the same thing, a ref ran over and gave him a full explanation (and usually followed up with a make up call).  I have to believe if we had a Huggins or whoever else with somewhat of a name on the bench, they would get that respect.

    The PLAY CLOCK will start when the kicker is handed the ball. The GAME CLOCK will start when the receiver touches the ball.

    I like moving the kickoff back 5 yards. I would much rather see a return man given a chance to shine than a touchback.

    I posted that the first and second level was sold out yesterday because I was looking for tickets online and the best available was third level. Box score has attendance at 6300. I think that's only slightly less than ND where there were a lot of people on the sides in the third level. Turned out I couldn't go so I wasn't at the game - was the thrid level empty?

    Guys, this also happened at the ND game, but never got the momentum going because they never had the lead. This is going to happen when you play schools that have national followings and tickets are available for purchase.

    This game will be very well attended. USF is issuing parking warnings for Wednesday night and the first and second levels are totally sold out. I'm kind of surprised, but glad to see it.

    Cincy homecoming last time was moved to Friday night 10/31 Halloween for tv. It kind of put a damper on the festivities and attendance. Hopefully, tv will not care about this game and it can be held on Saturday night at 7pm - that will draw a huge crowd if we are playing well.

    Great fight in the Bulls second half - almost pulled off the comeback. Great crowd - had to be at least 1500.

    Crowd was really great - I would say about 1/3 ND fans, but they were pretty quiet without the lead.  The students were held off until ND left the court and the band played the alma mater.  They were then allowed to "rush" the court.  By that time 3/4 of the students were already out of the building, but it was still a great scene.

    HB - I hope your comment is not serious. But if it is, I wouldn't say a "freeloader" is someone that's paid USF $25 for a ticket to a separate game on the same day.

    With all the Jose and marketing talk, wouldn't it make sense that if you have a paid men's ticket that you can enter early to see the women's game? What better way to introduce people to WBB on a night when we will have the largest crowd of the year at the dome? I also don't understand how they are going to hold anyone who shows up for the men's game a little early outside until like 7:30 after they clear out the dome. What if the women go to overtime? I guess I'm being somewhat anal about all this, but I don't see how that's going to work.
