    Have they changed the format of the BE website? It looks like crap and everything is not displaying. I can't click on sports to get to the football page. Is this happening to anyone else or is it something with my computer?

    Okay - maybe it's 1/2 full, but it looks really strange for FSU.

    Never thought I would see FSU home game at 1/4 capacity at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. At least not in my lifetime. I hope Jenn went to the right game today.

    I wouldn't be so fast to shut down Rutgers. They will get the computer votes (Sagarin has them #3 in his BCS formula) and just might get enough of the human votes - nobody knows until Monday.

    The one ref was an idiot. He was so focused on excessive celebration. Everytime the Bulls would have a good play, he would run over and get in the face of whoever made the play and just stare at them like "I dare you to throw your arms up or look happy". He always had his hand on his flag to make his point.

    yeah, I don't get it either. In my section half the people left between the middle of the 3rd and the middle of 4th. It's a mix of families, couples and older folks. No one type of group leaves or stays.

    I agree Rezz. Sad to say but Birmingham (not a great city), CUSA (been there done that) and Christmas time (instead of New Year) will probably draw a lot less than the number in Charlotte.

    I thought the crowd looked good also. Probably the usual 5,000 season/donor/corporate/sponsor no shows that would put the actual crowd around 30,000. It's really a shame that the seats between the 40's on both sides are almost half empty every game. I guess if you put up the big bucks, you have the right to stay at home - it's really unfortunate.

    31 through 99 means nothing in these polls. I believe you would find the top 30 and bottom 20 get the real research and thought put into it. That's why I think Massey's combined rankings offers the best view as it averages all known semi-legitimate polls. http://www.mratings.com/cf/compare.htm

    Any parent sending their kid to play at Miami (or FIU for that matter) next year needs to have their head examined. I hate to say it, but Miami will truly be signing only thugs (I hate that word when describing student athletes) next year as kids of true character will be looking elsewhere now. That's just going to make a bad situation worse. Donna S. needs a reality check if she thinks 1 game suspensions are appropriate for people over the age of 18 that broke the law in front of TV cameras.

    Lockhart is 15 miles from FAU. RayJay is 12 miles from USF. I think they have fallen into a similar attendance problem as we have in terms of people not using their tickets. Howard sells a TON of tickets to corporations, sponsors and big donors that NEVER use them. I wouldn't be surprised if the announced attendance is 15,000 because that's how many tickets they sold, but only have 3,000 butts in seats.
