  1. They look so in love, good on the Supreme Court for letting them ruin their lives like heterosexuals get to.
  2. You probably should reverse the lobbying / lawsuit order as I don’t know how successful your lobbying would be following a failed lawsuit but the lawsuit would always be there following a failed lobbying.
  3. Winning is a good in and of itself which means it doesn’t need a greater good to make it worth while, so yes AAC championships mean nothing and we have no shot at a playoff spot while being in the wee 5 but winning every game is still better than losing them. For nothing more than the sake of winning and maybe a NY6 game or two.
  4. I have the same feeling. In 20 years when everyone was so close but so far away will people still be saying, “ya but that one time 25 years ago that the team failed that’s the one time they would have let them in had they simply not failed.”
  5. Baseball has 1000 games so there is a lot more room for error, we need to win more games than every other team in our conference which doesn’t leave much room for error. However we are able to accomplish those wins is better for us than being challenged to losses. Who is Matt Baker?
  6. A) one person or zero losses does not a steak make B) Why would they be out of every cut of steak? It’s far more likely they are out of fish or one particular cut which if you then get a discount for it, great C) I would be happy with the wine and dessert
  7. So you are mad Oliver isn’t playing? At the end of the season no one will remember that.
  8. We should try communicating that we suck at communicating so as to better temper expectations.
  9. Ucf by definition can’t be the best possible competition and it has nothing to do with if they are 12-0 or 0-12.
  10. Me too, it’s a swipe at those that think we need UCF to remain undefeated for the rest of our lives in order to lend our program, which is dumb in case I forgot to mention it before.
  11. While ultimately the only way to truly win the AAC is to win a ticket out of the league it’s still a personal preference that we win the games while we do our time here in purgatory. Even if it’s with the knowledge that those wins mean nothing beyond themselves.
  12. I don’t know that I actually believed that we did it just fit my narrative that the fun police ruin the game day environment at Ray Jay and it didn’t seem likely you were coming back to set the record straight. Sorry for using you as a tool but my message remains the same, people that hate on Wizards, Flamingos, standing, and cheering are not doing our game day environment any favors. Keep fighting the good fight to make USF football fun again.
  13. Oh no I only like playing the every team’s best every week even if it comes at the cost of wins.
  14. We are Charlie Brown and the committee is Lucy, we may get close and we may think there is a chance but what can always be certain is inevitably the ball will always be moved before we can ever get to it.
  15. Yes I suppose there are other more glaring reasons to choose a school. I just find it interestingly inconsistent for the NCAA but I guess tragedy tends to evoke more emotional responses that can go against typical procedure.
  16. It’s just an interesting market differentiator for the money schools and the NCAA tries to avoid those for student athletes, at FSU you can get over $107k at USF not so much.
  17. You have to be P5 that’s the only known requirement.
  18. Sorry yes I am referring to the perfectly legal blocking style employed by other teams with lesser lines that is hated by anyone that faces it and is responsible for Oliver’s knee bruise last week. Odds are he would not like to face this blocking style ( no defender does) and since our line play is substandard I wouldn’t mind seeing it roll out this week. Thanks for the heads up on my misspoken word as I do not want anyone to think I was advocating cheating unless I knew it would help us and we would get away with it.
  19. Chop blocking is perfectly legal in college football, see the Georgia Tech game and anytime we play Navy. Not doing what you can to win the game with in the confines of the rules you are playing isn’t class it’s stupid. If last week Oliver played Navy and he received a perfectly legal chop block that isn’t in his best interest to continue and then sees we are now chop blocking he may skip our game too and wait to face blocks more in line with what he will face in the pros. I do not see why striking fear in the hearts of the opposition would be seen as a bad thing, there are no Mr congeniality trophies being handed out and we should do whatever is allowed to us to win the games.
  20. That’s the reason I’m surprised the NCAA allows for this. USF would never be able to raise the money that FSU would so it becomes clear to a recruit come to FSU and if anything happens to you at all more money will be raised for you than you will ever need go to USF and if anything happens we may raise enough to pay your families bills for a month.
