    I’ll wait patiently for the empirical evidence that being a limp wristed, passive beta coach is conducive to winning. One thing that I doubt will be debated, but I’ve been surprised on here before, is that being fiery comes across to fans as being being more passionate and as such the fans are more inclined to be patient with your pathway to success or in this instance destruction.

    For sure but it’s still odd to me that anyone would have any issue with a coach that just beat Alabama at Alabama being fiery and getting a passionate response from his team.

    I can’t imagine finding this reprehensible but that people do is why we got rid of the only fiery coach we have ever had.

    He got all excited after a huge win and used the f word in a locker room filled with adults, the horror. Thank G-d our coaching staff is smart enough to never put themselves in a position where that could happen.

    I think I prefer product differentiation instead of entering an arms race and hoping we miracle ourselves to out offense every other team. If everyone else is only built to win if they get to 50 there are more games to be won holding them to 30 then there is by hoping you get to 51.
