I have been one of the staunchest supporters of the never play UCF agenda, all UCF fans have espoused a USF needs to partner with UCF so that UCF can destroy everything CJL and Leroy Selmon worked so hard to establish platform. Also I am a huge CJL supporter while all knights hate them and I have been posting with pretty consistent stances for going on two decades, no one has that dedication to trolling. To recap I hate the AAC, UCF fans love it, I hate playing UcF , UCF fans think it’s great, I don’t think we need to mortgage our future by building a ****** OCS, UCF fans think it’s the most important thing and I am CJL fan, UCF fans hate him. And on a final note I bought a bullspen polo, what UCF fan is going to do that? (And so ends my long response to your joke that you expect to receive but still are amazed by every time).

Fair enough but the Bell for president proponents do not acknowledge there is any difference between levels, according to them it just takes many years and your own players to produce anything that even remotely resembles a functioning offense.

Maybe someone forgot to tell CJL that it takes years to get enough of your players in to field a competitive offense.

He does a pretty good job at dismantling our already fragile fan base, he is good at making bad hires by sticking to his sphere of influence and he is pretty adapt at pivoting away from hard hitting questions by taking the unorthodox approach of mumbling incoherent replies. Hopefully Corey doesn't see this

I think I recall that death being more swift and severe while this feels like a far more drawn out death, maybe we can give him partial payment in the souls of fans (I will offer mine up since I have little use for it).

We all just want the best for USF and have different opinions on how to get there, the world has just forgotten how to deal with opinions even marginally different from ones own. If someone says something different than you just start calling names, label them and yell real loud.

I know no one does that and I know KB hasn’t wouldn’t it be nice to hire someone that has ? I hear this kid named Wilcox isn’t bad, Mathis either, Cronkite is a pretty good RB, Barnett was a decent QB, Ford had some talent, the WRs as a core are serviceable and every single team has drops and the line was better before we shifted people from their positions for no explicable reason. Are we stacked from top to bottom with NFL stars? Absolutely not but neither is the rest of the AAC.

Wanting to stick with the people failing on staff is a recipe for not wanting us to get better, I want us to think bigger and better than what is the easiest solution right in front of us.

Maybe they should have tried coaching at the Pop Warner level with KB.

I do not want to put everything on KB I just want people to be honest and recognize that he plays a role (the amount can be debated but not that there is some amount due) in producing an offense that is one of the worst in the country because while the talent maybe lacking its not to the level he has dragged the offense down to (or at least there is no data point to support that assertion). Should the problem be entirely talent and there is nothing his amazing coaching can do to produce even a salvageable offense that is even in the realm of Gilbert's offense what top level talent has he brought in during his decade of coaching that you think will close that gap? Has he ever brought in a 5 star recruit? A four star? Even a three star? His roster has typically been made up of unrated players that were passed over by all FBS schools and all FCS scholarship schools and maybe just maybe his approach to recruiting will not fair any better here than his play calling.

Pretty sure he started with Ford and he misused him and he wasn’t exactly lighting things up because of it. The other people are accounted for in the lost offensive production from last season in which we lost the 11th least in all of FBS football’s 130 teams. There really isn’t anything to point to for you to have this much blind faith in the guy. He lit it up for one season in DIIIIIII football and if anyone was as impressed by that feat as much as people on this board are the guy wouldn’t be in a position where he could rightfully be losing his job after one season along with the coach he came in to rescue from the hot seat.

Idk I think he only killed one wife and the other guy killed like four so I would think that establishes a pattern that maybe worse than what I assume to be an isolated incident, but much like saying Morris is better than CCS it really isn’t a distinction worth celebrating.

The defense will have to hold them to 17 because you have to count on the offense giving up at least as many points as they put up.

We should consider hiring someone who’s job it is to take care of that

It’s not binary they both can suck at the same time and when you sign onto a staff that is already sucking you get less time, that’s life and had he had any other options he would have taken a safer choice.
