    I guess that people can be optimistic that we could be three short years from a turnaround but from where I’m sitting it’s been 22 years since we made a good football hire.

    The good news is once he hits the portal CCS will be sure to land him, no one portals like CCS ( well at least no one that can stack and maintain a roster).

    Back in my day we never lost to UCF and we went to bowl games but some people thought that was a plateau for our coach, turns out it was the pinnacle for the program.

    I thought it was waste years trying to instill prostyle offenses until you get fired or almost get fired and then return to our normal spread offense for a year or two just to revert back to what doesn’t work and start over again, but I guess that one is a bit wordy for a mantra.

    They are almost systematic in the way they dismantle any attempt at fan enthusiasm, at least we know KB will have a way to scheme around it because one time in DIIIIII football he had a dynamic offense for one season. So that’s nice.

    They need it to be true in order to perpetuate their we need to follow the UCF model myth even though it felt like an eternity their success was fleeting and is even able to be emulated by them much less others, I am pretty sure they now fear they are facing a CCS and flowers type of situation more than a continuation of glory.
