  1. How do I not get special recognition in your speech? I’m the Kanye to your Taylor Swift, without me you wouldn’t be recognized.
  2. So CCS left the team with completely no talent to the point where expecting even a single FBS win is an unreasonable expectation but CJS brought in grad transfers to try to fill the QB position and yet they are less talented than the talentless players on the CCS roster? Interesting and yet none of any responsibility could possibly even the smallest sliver fall on his shoulders.
  3. Apparently there is always a rock bottom we can find located further below what we always believe to be our current rock bottom, so if you look at it the right way it’s nice to know that we are never currently in the worst position.
  4. I have no clue if CJS will be successful here long term any more than anyone knows he is going to be great. I also hope he is the greatest coach we have ever hired but that does not change the fact that he is off to a horrible start, is doing measurably worse than CCS and his gang of clowns just got ran out of town for, that people are continuing to lower the bar on what will be successful this season (at least now they can’t lower it further) and that we still have found a way to crawl under it. The difference between 6 wins and 12 is entirely on CCS. Unfortunately as CCS could win 4 with this talent it wouldn’t be unreasonable to have a good coach win 6. However we are now aiming for one FCS win and the difference between that and four is entirely on CJS. CJS needs to own the situation he has signed up for and start driving towards that improvement. People can make up excuse after excuse about why their hope isn’t matching results but that doesn’t change the fact that we are underachieving for the talent level that we actually have as evidenced by their ability to do better last season. The time to do better is today and I’m ready for CJS to start showing us tangible improvement that people do not have to rack their imaginations to create. Also I assure you that I don’t bring up CJL as often as people bring it up to me. My take on the start of this season has everything to do with CJS and CCS and absolutely nothing to do with CJL. The idea that it should take 3 years to turnaround a 4 win team to a 6 win team is an absurd one that I’m just not willing to accept.
  5. I thought that’s what made it funny, it’s not my fault I get called out more than any other poster (well actually that probably is my fault).
  6. Guys I hate to be a stickler for the rules but I’m going to kindly ask that we stay on topic, me, and knock off all of the religion and Publix conversations. If everyone just talked randomly about the things they cared about and completely ignored the topics the board would just devolve into chaos...
  7. Have you seen the resumés of recycled coaches? There is no way that you honestly believe that the HC injustice is strictly football related.
  8. That could possibly have more to do with our smear campaign than with his actual performance in coaching
  9. Because by every measure it’s the best anyone has done at this actual job and no one has the conference championship to even begin that argument (paying no attention yo CJL’s uphill battle or this being the worst conference we have ever been in). That being said with regards to wins CJS is looking up at TJ Weist
  10. It’s been a pretty solid foundation to build pretty much every argument on for 11 years now, trust me I’m as surprised as anyone by it’s staying power but I guess there is always three years from now when perhaps maybe I’ll have to pick up a new topic assuming all the stars align perfectly.
  11. No it’s only okay for me to do it for anyone else it’s “different”
  12. It’s not my fault he wasn’t up on his Wuhan news and lacked the foresight to see the butterfly effect it would have on college Football, but in all fairness to the guy it’s probably hard to get much information on your transistor radio in wherever South Carolina.
  13. I don’t think I would like that I like to fancy myself as different
  14. I like the city of Tampa just fine does that necessarily translate to having to like the professional teams too?
  15. Well that’s unfortunate I guess, although the Steelers are 4-0 for the first time since 1979 so that’s nice.
  16. Don’t feel bad like many knockoff brands it was made to be purposefully confused
  17. It’s as reasonable as the fairytale that in the past year there has been a 45 point swing in talent between the two teams
  18. The problem with those examples is that the professional leagues are built to create balance in the competition and you get rewarded for failure and being frugal and have the opportunity to turn things around because of it. The reward for failing in college football is usually more failure until you do something differently to turn around your course.
  19. Maybe... but it would beg the question of what exactly he is drawing upon to make him believe his path of continuing to look worse eventually miracles it’s way to the right course. To date every single message board hack on here has exactly the same amount of FBS wins as the current expert and less losses. If there are no signs of a turnaround or improvement of anything even into next season we all will know a lot more about the current course than some of us will be willing to admit.
