Besides the obvious issue, one thing I have noticed is this. The players are not moving without the ball. They stand and wait for the ball to come to them, instead of constantly moving to get into an open position. If you notice the top teams on how they play, they are always on the move away from the ball. Even on set plays, the good teams are moving. This sets up the play. Our guys unfortunately have not been coached to do this, which has lead to laziness on the court, bad passes, turnovers, poor rebounding. Another area has already been mentioned... free throws. Evidently, the free throw issue is not important, (like a lot of issues on this team) to warrant extra work. My work ethic would be to run the court. Stop play shoot free throws, run the court, stop shoot free throws etc. I feel our guys are not conditioned. They are in the lazy mode which reflects the free throws. This is a coaching issue. And lastly, I feel these kids DO want to succeed. They are affraid, or sick and tired of being yelled at all the time. There is no morale on this team. No fire. They are affraid to speak up, affraid to lead for fear of retribution(remember it's my way or the highway). This is ALSO a coaching issue. Shooper, I know you are doing the right thing by bringing a different slant to this issue, but unfortunately it always will revert back to the coaching issue. Until we see a change, we will remain in the mediocrity we are expiriencing. Reaper
