  1. Well, he'll be making 4k a week on the practice squad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scout_team
  2. Broncos Practice squad. http://blogs.tampabay.com/usf/
  3. I talked to the Cape Coral coach at last year's spring game. Class act all the way. I asked him about possible prospects for this year and Anderson is who he mentioned. I like the pipeline we are starting with Cape Coral and all of these recruits from that school are not only athletes, but great kids.
  4. Nice Find ET.  Our staff does a great job of finding defensive talent.
  5. Pitt game is available online, but is not currently listed on Gameplan TV. Syracuse game is available on Gameplan TV.
  6. I was going to post something negative, but decided not to. Thanks to the 20k fans that we actually do have.
  7. Looks bigger than listed. Reminds me of SJ Green, a big guy who isn't blazing fast, but has good hands and runs good routes. I like the pick up and he is fully qualified.
  8. Moderators, why does my post say "Burnett' crap" in the post? In the actual post(when you try to modify) it says the correct thing "Burnett's hit".
  9. Thanks for telling the truth. The hit was a great, clean hit.  Taurus should be fine by the time Pitt rolls around and that is the most important thing.  That hit was very similar to Burnett's hit in the game, but no one is saying that was a cheap shot.  Fact is, you throw a high ball over the middle, and people get popped. 10. GROTHE He wanted to be a Bull. He has looked good and will continue to improve.
  11. I watched a few of UNCs games this year, and their rb McGill is a lot like Ray Rice. If we can stop the run, I like our chances pretty good. If they get the running game going then we could be in for a long day. It will be a battle no matter what. This game is the season for UNC, and at home they will give us their best shot. Should be a close game and fun to watch.
  12. Hopefully he is going to be ok and able to play. If he is questionable, it might be better to hold him out til Cinci to help us in conference. However, with this being only the second game I will see in person this year, I am hopeful that MG will be able to start. If PJ is starting it will be a long day.
  13. Julmiste is only at DT due to our lack of depth there. This is similar to the Tim Jones situation last year. Josh is big enough to hold his own at DT, but the boy is a freak on the end.
  14. Don't know if this was posted yet. There goes my 2nd of 2 tailgates for the year down the ******.
  15. You got me. I live in NC currently and this will be my second game of the year.
  16. It's always easy to criticize from the sideline.
  17. 2003 AL, SMISS 2004 S.CAROLINA 2005 PENN ST., UM, PITT, NC ST.(Bowl) 2006 UCF, UNC, WV(??) Record (1-7) Thank God for a W last weekend.
  18. I think that this was a valid question to ask, and the answer will be given in the next couple of weeks.  So far, we have played well enough to win, but we haven't played like a good team.  A good team would have trounced both mcneese and fiu, and beaten UCF by a larger margin than we did.  However, I have seen bright spots.  The team has improved in each of the games and we actually can complete passes. There are 2 areas we are lacking in so far. 1.  The only area of the team that has not improved is the punt team, as a whole they have underachieved this year to put it nicely.  Some will argue that it has only been 1 or 2 plays in each game, but isn't 1 or 2 plays often the difference between a W or a L. 2. I feel that both sides of the line have improved each game, but really need to step it up more in the coming weeks.  If we can tighten up these units, then we will be a pretty good team.  If we can't, then the good teams will run it down our throats on D and put # 8 on his can because our O is 1-dimensional.  The game is won in the trenches and this is was separates the good teams from the poor teams.  ÂÂ
  19. Not a great schedule add, but I will be able to attend this game.
  20. I remember hearing some quotes from a player saying a couple of the boys had bad groin pulls. Anyone in the know shed some light on this. We already have a young DLine and I wouldn't want to see us lose anyone.
  21. Always bring cans to an outdoor event unless you know the owner of the location. Nothing worse then being told to either leave or get rid of the bottles.
  22. If you are kidding, which I don't think you are, you are risking the credibility of your career as a journalist. Thanks for shedding the light on our future scheduling. Often times you guys are berated for your work, but this was a job well done. If you could scan the documents or get us a link it would be great for the naysayers on the board. Job well done. Thanks, Matt Sufficool P.S. I know that Bowling Green, Muncie, and Buffalo are hot beds for talent and great places to visit, but I won't be needing the prospective game dates as mentioned in your blog.
  23. Who's coming with me. Doesn't this game get you pumped up like it does me. What a joke Woolard and Leavitt. The funny thing is that ol Jimbo most definitely knew this when he had his press conference on Tuesday.
