Vega, I respect and enjoy reading your posts about basketball and will add a little bit more about why I said that statement above. Fitz is our closest thing to a PF but he lacks a post up game, especially when playing people of equal size to him. He is more of a pick and pop, step away from the basket type forward. When he posts up down low and goes at the rim he gets rejected on a regular basis. Rudd is a 3 man, He may be 230lbs but he is not a power forward. He has no leverage, this why when he attacks the rim off the dribble he gets bodied away and his inability to post up against a 4 man. Both players seem to have gotten tired of having to defend much bigger guys on the defensive end, guys they wouldn't have to guard as much if the academic people would have let our recruit in.

In this league, with no center or power forward on our team we have zero margin of error to win. Tonight it was the turnover on the entry pass to Fitz with a few minutes left and then the horrible turnover under a minute. We have to play perfect to win against anybody left on our schedule.

Russell Wilson was injured and didn't play when we played them in Raleigh. It would have been a much different game then the 41-10 smack down had he played. Instead it was Harrison Beck, 9 for 32 with 3 pics.

Remember he is an early enrollee. If he signs with USF and enrolls in January he is a starter for sure come Game 1. .

I saw Chris after last night's game. He should be able to help immediately next year. If we can weather the storm this year of no bigs, we should have 2 quality youngsters in him and big John to help us down low.

wishful thinking boys, unless somebody ponies up the cash we're stuck with the politician Holtz. Remember, he just got a contract extension through 2017 boys. "USF coach Skip Holtz has signed a contract extension through the 2017 season that will pay him $2 million annually, the school announced Friday."

Regardless of the outcome of this game it is going to be a long year on Fowler Ave. Need say no more.

Can't believe that was well over a decade ago. I don't think I've ever heard the Dome as loud as it was on that day. I remember Reggie Kohn hitting a three from very deep and thinking the roof was going to pop off the place. How could I ever forget Matt Bonner slowly sticking knives into my heart as the guy couldn't miss in the second half. It was the first of the many heartbreaks (and some joys) I've had as a Bulls fan. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, and for also reminding me that I'm getting old. P.S. Does anyone have a video tape of the game?

In recruiting it isn't over until signing day. It would be great if we get him but we will all still live to see another day if we don't land him. And even if we do land him, theres no guarantee that he actually becomes a great player.

BullDoug- Good luck converting the texans into loving the Bulls. Hope you make tons more cash cause it sucks missing the games. I had to do it this year and will have to again next season. Watching it on gameplan is much better than nothing at all, but the phone calls from your friends at the games gets old fast.
