Collin, the committee chose a company called Dan Mar based on past events and references. I know you and I had talked about casino fund raisers in the past but I was hoping you could come and enjoy this evening rather than working since the dealers won't get tipped since it is a fund raising event.

I've met him on a few occassions and even hung out with him in B'ham for the bowl at some bar. Very casual guy but I have heard he is a different guy on the field. You know what kills me about this thread and every other thread that talks negative about CJL or anything about the football team. How in the hell can you talk negative about this program. Do I wear green and gold glasses, maybe. But some of you act as though we have been around as long as UM, FSU and UF. I can't believe you are dogging any aspect of this program after the ascension into a BCS program after 10 years, a bowl win, a superstar at QB, hopefully a superstar RB to complement him, beating ranked teams, great scheduling. Come on people! I know there are people who say they are only being realists and pointing out shortcomings, but we are still growing up and slowly catching the nation's eye. The recruiting is getting better every year and you will soon see us with a top 25 recruiting class. of course, then you will have to find something else to ***** about.

No. The channel 13 report was excellent. Then I watched channel 10 and Angela Jacobs started talking about it but the video showed Lightning highlights so she started talking about he Lightning game and never went back to the USF game. I couldn't believe it.

Great schedule except for that UofL game. A close friend is getting married that weekend. And yes, he is a football fan, just not a USF fan. He didn't care about the schedule becuase he does not attend his home team's games. This sucks!

I think the problem you will find for a lot of us is we are not students anymore. I know I either have work or parenting obligations. I knew at the beginning of the season that I could not make a lot of games so I bid to be coach on the bench for one game and I have also been to another. Unfortunately, I have not been able to make any more. And if I am wrong, then, that is at least my plight.

Why would you not want to have the tourney in Florida? Unless all the other teams did not want to travel down here again.
