  1. I like the Mario Party bumper analogy. The Pac just got knocked over, and now its just the Big 12 and the ACC remaining.
  2. I think we can do both. Pay Jose to stay, and free up money for Coach Amir. Jose has been our most consistent coach so we should do what we can to keep him.
  3. Number 2 is no longer that important. When ( or if) the ACC falls apart it will look like a Mario party game where everyone is jumping over themselves to land on the last remaining log.
  4. Weirder things have happened in college football just in the last 2 years
  5. I think system that has very little to do as to why we had meager years after the first year of Strong and under Scott. I think Golesh and Rahim proved that point with bringing in new systems and having success year 1.
  6. You mean like an assistant coach? I don't think that would be the route to go. The best plan for a program like USF will always be to find the best available person with HC experience. However, I hope this wont be an issue for many years to come. and Rahim will be with us a long time. Hopefully at some point we will be in the ACC or Big 12 where it will become easier to keep good HC's.
  7. Hope he stays. His run with women's basketball has been one of the most impressive in USF history. The only one I can think of is maybe Kiefer's run in men's soccer.
  8. One easy fix would be for the NCAA governing body to change the opening date of the transfer portal to the day after all the tournaments are finished.
  9. I hope not. He is a great player, and would be an important piece of the team next year.
  10. True. I hadn't really followed the women's team this year and just read it on the board, so it was easier to swallow. The women's team has been so consistent where NCAAT as of late has almost become a norm. And I guess if you are an elite team its easier to refuse a NIT bid But I think for the two major sports; football and men's basketball you take whatever post season play you can get. However, if there comes a day where we refuse a NIT bid for men's basketball, it would probably mean that we have gone to multiple NCAAT, and at that point us refusing a NIT bid will become easier to swallow as well.
  11. Just hope we would never go that route. the NIT journey albeit brief was fun, and would always be worthy of playing.
  12. This thread scared me clicking on it. I though you were talking our QB BB. OOF!
  13. Fantastic season. One for the record books. Hopefully everyone who can comes back next season , and that hopefully we can add a few pieces. Expecting NCAAT next year!
  14. I think we are the only AAC team still playing. That is something to be proud about. Lets continue the season tonight with a win.
  15. The team deserves a sell out tonight.
  16. I think there is pressure at USF. If there is no pressure at USF to perform then we as a fanbase are not doing our job.
  17. Yes, I picked Stetson law school for many reasons mostly academic, but one additional reason was the excuse to live 3 additional years in the Tampa Bay area.
  18. I know a lot of people dont like ESPN on this board, but that AAC deal where we can watch all these USF games for multiple sports on ESPN plus is incredible. Wish there was a deal that would include the ESPN cable networks as well, and I would be done with Youtube tv forever
  19. No the main campus is in Deland, and that is where the sports play. The law school is in St Petersburg. Gorgeous campuses both.
  20. Yes, but the law school is located in the St Pete''s
  21. It will always be the SunDome for me as well. The old SunDome where the light came in through the roof ( way before my time though) looked like an epic arena.
  22. We absolutely should play as many power 5 teams as we can. Winning at least 2-3 of those might be a pre requisite of making it to the tournament as an at large in the future.
