    I was around then, was speaking of recent memory, yes we we fried some big fish 10-15 years ago, so what, how does that impact the discussion today? It is cute how you are turning your nose up to them but have nothing in recent memory to substantiate that belief. You are like someone from old money that is broke but still think you are upper crust, stop living in the past.

    We didn’t though and by my count we have only fried a few minnows and a small bluegill. You have to walk before you can run and we are at a slow crawl presently.

    I guess if you can’t beat them then don’t schedule them is your philosophy, mine is different. I want to beat them badly and then troll them until their heads explode.

    You don’t want the Urban Meyer way which has resulted in multiple National championships, you are ok with with one win as long as the culture is good? Trust me, if they don’t win another game the culture will not be good. Winning breeds winning, cultures improve with winning, locker rooms become closer with winning. we need to start actually winning some games soon or this program is dead IMO.

    c really is a great rivalry once we regain our competitiveness on a regular basis regardless of your disdain for them.

    I am not sure I actually went after Faza, and I may have agreed with the message but couldn’t get through it, ADD kicked in on the 7th paragraph. I also thought CJS coached a terrific game and was thrilled with the effort. The original rant was alcohol induced and he went on a lengthy groveling rant to make amends, just stating facts. He is a super fan, Iron Bull and from what I have heard a great person and was not trashing the guy, this is good old fashioned locker room banter, however some are more thin skinned than others and don’t always appreciate my quick wit.

    A War and Peace apology that is a little over the top. Next time just say I got drunk and was talking out my ass previously, thank you for making me eat my words. More succinct and much more accurate. I am not throwing stones, I live in a glass house but jeez, that tail is all the way between your legs.

    That is his strength, first game we were out of it early, second game was against a high school team so I guess it makes sense and the guy getting paid millions actually had a strategy.

    Not sure holding stuff back but changing their play calls to not expose the QB to injury is a distinct possibility.

    I would say if we are undersized and out talented that this may be a reason for getting banged up, I am speaking from experience. Hopefully conference play will level this out.

    Steve you are a hard nut to crack. I have bashed this coach while you have said he was the second coming. I watched a well prepared, well coached team with creativity and aggressiveness last nite and am finally able to see progress and this is when you jump off the bandwagon as I am feeling optimism? We have a team and coaches showing competency, don’t give up now.

    Mortgages or the bookie, all are investments, some just take longer to appreciate (or depreciate).

    I think he has been utilized properly, he has a great burst and will be nice depth. He may be a hidden gem but for now he is a 3 or 4 on the depth cart.

    I think we simply have a bunch of guys banged up and think Weaver gets too many looks as well but maybe this is because he is getting open. Throwing at big targets is easier and with GB struggling with accuracy it would help.

    We got it, I was a bit hoarse as well at home. Old lady went out and I was working on a bottle of Whiskey that makes me feisty. I have not had that much fun watching us play in years. Trickett/Morris/Scott had a nice game plan, our D (like every other) feeds off a competent O. I would love for us to compete for a conference title, maybe we do this year.

    Lot of points, I had the under last night at 60, wish I would have lost and Spencer made the kick.

    It is obvious that GB extended drives with his legs and TM could not have done what GB did last night. He will settle down with his throws, he is not a great passer by any stretch but he is better than this. I feel like we finally have a team worth supporting and for that I am thankful.
